MJF retains the AEW World Title, defeating RUSH to kick off Dynamite. A very fun match, with RUSH passing out. After the match, MJF was about to hit RUSH with the gold, but Mark Briscoe came out to stop him. The Conglomoration then prevented MJF from hitting Briscoe. #AEWDynamite

MJF ended the promo by calling TK a "fucking mark," after which the show cut to black and went to a commercial. During the commercial, CM Punk hobbled to the ring to chase MJF away. One of MJF's all-time great promos—and the next chapter in Punk/MJF was set in motion. (via AEW)
