The Supreme Court issued a stay pausing the 5th Circuit's order that would have required in-person appointments to get mifepristone. That's great news!! But that's not the whole story. It never is. Would it surprise you that Donald Trump Jr.'s turkey-hunting buddy is involved? I explain:

The Supreme Court kicked the mifepristone can down the road and extended the stay until Thursday at 5 pm. So, you can still get mifepristone prescribed by telehealth—until at least Thursday!

I have to correct some bad takes I am seeing. People are acting like THEE Sam Alito somehow saved abortion access today. He did not. The fact that he issued a one-week administrative stay in Louisiana v. FDA *is not a win*. It's a temporary reprieve.
