The good news is it runs again. More or less. But not great and not for long. I've hosed the carb down in carb cleaner a few times but I think there's some varnish still in there.

My friends have said that India is so sad I am leaving it is crying. A bit dramatic perhaps but we are trying to enjoy our last moments together. Off to the airport now!

"How do you see what is happening?" You don't really; it's primarily done by feel.

So what separates freehand grinding from other methods? As the name implies: it's done entirely by hand. No jigs, rests, or fancy CNC. It takes a very long time to build these skills up.
