Really enjoyed this conversation with Eurogamer's new editor-in-chief, @christapsell.bsky.social on this month's episode of The Games Press. Here he is talking about the lessons learned from being a lifelong Man United fan as he envisions his team's role in the games media going forward.

Last month @mackeza.bsky.social swung through town on her book tour for 'Super Nintendo: How One Japanese Company Helped the World Have Fun' and we had a chat all about it in front of a live audience. If you weren't there, fear not, it was also recorded for this month's episode of The Games Press!

Extremely pleased to bring The Games Press back today with Mothership's @midimyers.com & @zoehhannah.com! We talk about the current state of feminist writing in the games media, whether "subscription fatigue" is real & how they've processed what happened to them & their former coworkers at Polygon.

ROCKSTAR UPDATE: Keir Starmer was just asked about the Rockstar firings in Parliament today where he described the situation as "deeply concerning" and promised it would be looked into by government ministers. Not that a Starmer promise is worth much, mind.

Very similar language from Andrew Feinstein last week as well, mentioning people "in very sensitive positions" being involved.

Delighted to have IGN's @wyp.bsky.social on The Games Press! Not only is Wes a superb games reporter, but he's been such an important mentor to me over the years since we worked together at Eurogamer. Not sure PMG would have happened without him.

Sad to hear Mick Lynch is retiring and I hope this doesn't mark the end of him bodying idiots on the telly. A personal favourite was him up against the wettest of Tory wet wipes, Jonathan Gullis.

If you watched PMG's video on Palestine last year, you'll know about @rasheedabueideh.bsky.social and his story. He's a Palestinian game dev, living in the West Bank, and experiencing the horror of a genocide many of us can only witness through a screen halfway around the world.
