A president who can't stay awake during a televised Oval Office meeting is a president who can't manage a war. The war on merit continues apace. The only thing that matters is membership in The Club. Meanwhile, the rest of us are gonna burn.

Sorkin thinks a Wall Street crash is coming. What that might mean is vague, but he's saying it while discussing the 1929 crash, which is the subject of his new book.

I think it's clear that this is the direct consequence of electing a man who has never pumped his own gas, bought his own groceries, or wrote a check to pay for his own utilities. Elect a man as out of touch as Trump is, and the result is gas prices that won't fall until 2032. Not a typo.

Anthony Scaramucci has been doing interviews in which he says in effect that Trump believes if he goes down, he's taking the GOP down, too. That makes a lot of sense.
