Russia has repeatedly portrayed the EU and Ukraine’s leadership as unwilling to end the war. The facts show otherwise. In 2025 alone, the Kremlin rejected at least seven peace and ceasefire proposals, while continuing its attacks against Ukraine.

More than four years since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the European Union remains united in its support for Ukraine.
