Reform’s Makerfield candidate called abortion cowardly murder, said women can’t ref, drive or give directions, and endorsed sexually explicit posts about Carol Vorderman. Reform called it locker room banter. Donald Trump said the same thing in 2016.

Hours after Reform announced their Makerfield by-election candidate today, his X account was suspended. Screenshots show him replying to a man jailed for stirring up racial hatred during the Southport riots.

Seventeen Reform officials suspended, expelled or resigned in less than two weeks since the elections. More than one in ten of their 2025 councillors were gone within a year. They are on course to exceed that rate considerably faster this time.

Reform UK were rejected by more than 70% of voters yesterday, and the media is treating the result as terminal for Labour while almost entirely ignoring the fact that most people said no to the hatred, the division and the bigotry. That is the actual story.
