I can't sleep, so I'm revisiting John Singleton's 1993 flick "Poetic Justice." It's undeniable that Singleton's debut "Boyz n the Hood" is a classic but this and "Higher Learning" are underrated. It's a shame that Janet Jackson hasn't done more films as she turned in a solid performance here. 👏

I go through phases where I watch it religiously and never cease to find new aspects that enthral me. From the cinematography to the screen-writing. Truly epic.
