Calgary succeeds when Canada succeeds. Meeting today with mayors from across the country today to tackle housing, affordability, public safety, and jobs. The path forward isn't separation. It's building stronger communities and a stronger country.

Meaningful to spend time with my Council colleagues at Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids. As our city grows, so does our responsibility to ensure every child has the support they need to thrive. Thank you to the volunteers, staff, and supporters making a difference for Calgary families!

Huge thanks to everyone who helped me blast past my $5,000 fundraising goal. Every dollar supports Wellspring and families facing cancer. If you're looking to support a great cause, please consider backing my friend Dr. Patrick Baillie: give.wellspring.ca/fundraisers/...

River levels are expected to rise this weekend as mountain snowmelt and rainfall increase flows on the Bow and Elbow Rivers. No flooding is expected, but a boating advisory is in effect and some pathway closures are likely. Thank you to City crews monitoring conditions around the clock.

Excited to attend the groundbreaking for the Olympic Plaza Transformation. For decades, this has been one of Calgary's most iconic public spaces, hosting celebrations, festivals, and memories that span generations. Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the heart of our downtown!

Just heading into day two of Council with a quick update after some important decisions last night focused on making Calgary safer.

I’ve heard from Calgarians deeply concerned about the AISH and ADAP changes. For some, that means about $200 less each month for rent, groceries, or medication. Council has formally raised concerns with the province. Albertans with disabilities deserve stability, dignity, and opportunity.

Behind the scenes from our training for the Firefighter Stairclimb. Once a week, our team climbs the Bow Tower three times. That’s 171 floors total. A tough workout, and still only a small glimpse into the grit first responders bring. To donate: give.wellspring.ca/fundraisers/...

Voting on whether to have a vote is a ridiculous lack of provincial leadership. Calgary is a globally connected city. Separation uncertainty is costing us jobs. We have real work to do: building homes, improving public safety, fixing infrastructure, growing our economy, and making life better.

I’ve heard from Calgarians across the city: I support keeping Calgary’s free fare zone. It makes downtown safer and more accessible. We need to support local businesses, and keep transit a practical option for workers, students, seniors, and visitors making short trips through our core.

Great to tour the Calgary Humane Society this week. Thank you for the warm welcome and for the incredible work your team does every day. Met a few new friends, some more interested in treats than policy. Looking forward to building a closer relationship.

I've heard from thousands of Calgarians. We need to keep the LRT free fare zone. People have made decisions around where to live, work, and do business based on it. It helps move people downtown, supports safety through busy platforms, keeps transit accessible, and is central to hosting major events

On the #22 into work this morning. Two big wins at committee this week for public safety: advancing Calgary’s broader Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan, and supporting the next steps toward reopening a downtown police station. More support, prevention, and visible presence for a safer Calgary.

Great to join Bike to Work Day and see so many Calgarians out riding. People should have the freedom to choose how they get around, whether that’s driving, transit, walking, or biking. Safe streets for our kids and families make every option work better.

I had a blast being hosted by the McDonald's team at University District for McHappy Day today! A giant thank-you to Usman Jutt and Chirp Foods for all you do to support Ronald McDonald House Charities and other local children’s charities.

Calgarians are optimistic about life in this fantastic city. Traffic, roads, and public safety continue to be top priorities for Calgarians. Details in the 2026 Spring Survey of Calgarians.

It's spring in Calgary and that means the Pathway and River Cleanup is underway! Thanks to the many volunteers who joined me at St. Patrick's Island this morning.

Today is The National Day of Mourning to remember those who lost their lives or who were injured at work.

With support from Council including Councillor Dan McLean, I am bringing forward a motion to explore reopening a downtown police station. Calgary is the only major North American city without one. Visible presence, more prevention, and stronger safety action matter.

As promised, we are starting the process of getting a downtown police station.

Calgary Expo is here and I’ve got the honour of serving as Parade Marshal. Stopped by The Costume Shoppe to get ready. Thanks Ryan! We’re saving the full reveal for later today… but any guesses on the costume? 👀

The Calgary Expo parade-turned-dance party was a blast! Many thanks to everyone who got their amazing costumes together and braved the cold.
