The Trump administration is planning to change the US refugee system to favor white people. At the same time, they’re in the Supreme Court fighting to gut the Voting Rights Act. It’s no wonder young Republicans are sending racist messages. Racism is the official policy of the Republican Party.

Trump has just signed a presidential memorandum to send National Guard troops to Memphis. He said his next targets are Chicago, New Orleans, and St. Louis. But there’s a reason he keeps sending the military to Black cities. It’s not about crime. It’s about control.

Republicans spent the last 50 years claiming they believed in “limited government” and “states’ rights,” but now they are proving they were liars all along as they invade Democratic cities and Democratic states for Trump’s political spectacle.

The firing of Attorney General Pam Bondi should be a lesson for all Trump appointees. No matter how much you suck up to Trump, it will never be enough.
