This is sped up almost 300,000% for showcase purposes. Planets now have an updated orbit trail, tapering to show the direction of orbit for planets. Star systems all now "face" a single direction, with "North" pointing to the Galaxy Center. #coding #godot #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #StarDancers

So I FINALLY managed to get the star system map to display planets dynamically using their respective seed. There's only one system type at the moment, but each star color will be it's own type with a different color and (hopefully) mechanically different sun and planets. #indiedev #gamedev #godot
