Redlining was legalized theft. Banks and federal agencies denied mortgages by race and called it “risk.”

The 13th Amendment left slavery legal as “punishment for crime.” Convict leasing turned that loophole into forced labor.

Freedom was declared after the Civil War, then taken back by policy and violence. Reconstruction wasn’t a failure. It was a rollback.

Harriet Tubman carried a gun and planned to kill anyone who tried to recapture the people with her.

Enslaved people never accepted captivity. Resistance started the moment chains closed and never stopped.

About 12.5 million Africans were forced onto slave ships. Mass death was planned, priced, and approved.

This system hurts people on purpose. Kanawha County still pays for old power protecting itself through courts. I’m running for magistrate to slow the machine and limit damage.

White colonization needs Africans framed as “uncivilized” to justify slavery and extraction. Africa wasn’t empty before Europeans showed up.

Black history wasn’t forgotten. It was removed by public schools, publishers, and lawmakers who benefit from silence. February exists because erasure is policy, not an accident.

Kanawha County magistrate courts churn out eviction orders and warrants while working people get rushed through hearings alone. Over 3,000 eviction filings last year. I’m running for Magistrate to end cash bail, stop high-volume evictions, and force real due process.

Blood pays for your silence, and the bill keeps growing. They want obedience dressed up as responsibility. People who believe they built their own cage start negotiating for softer restraints instead of tearing the structure apart. Control becomes internal.

Genocide, enslavement, and legalized apartheid shaped America from birth. Civil rights law is younger than many living people. Nazi Germany studied U.S. race laws. Fascism didn’t arrive here. It was refined here.
