Acting AG Todd Blanche gave me his “word” that DOJ is dropping the “anti-weaponization” slush fund—but wouldn’t put it in writing. We can’t take these people at their word. I will use every tool in Congress to ensure taxpayer dollars are not used to bankroll the President’s agenda.

Now, hundreds of seniors must be relocated. I am in the process of securing federal funding to help, but NYCHA must make these repairs at once.

I've been told that the Latimer Gardens Older Adult Center at NYCHA’s Latimer Houses in Flushing has been forced to temporarily close due to leaks in its roof. This is unacceptable. After I saw these leaks last year, I called on NYCHA to immediately fix this problem, but the agency failed to do so.

It’s Period Poverty Awareness Week. Menstruation is normal—but access to essential products still isn’t. That’s why I introduced the Menstrual Equity for All Act to expand access and affordability. Periods are natural. Access should be too.

Sec. Lutnick previously said he cut ties with Jeffrey Epstein in 2005. But newly released records show he visited Epstein’s private island in 2012—four years after Epstein’s conviction for soliciting a minor.   Americans deserve full transparency about Secretary Lutnick’s relationship with Epstein.

Happy Earth Day! This year, I'm backing the Energy Bills Relief Act, because it: ✅ Lowers costs ✅ Expands home-grown clean energy ✅ Modernizes our grid ✅ Reduces pollution With energy bills rising and the climate crisis intensifying, our planet and our wallets cannot afford to wait.

Groceries, gas, homes — costs are skyrocketing across the board. Americans are stuck paying the price for the President’s trade wars and backroom deals.  What happened to putting America First?

Fun fact: I'm on the Slow Fashion Caucus & I love a good find at a thrift shop.

Lives have already been lost. Gas prices are climbing. Families who are barely getting by can’t afford another blow. I voted again this week against war with Iran. Congress never authorized this. We need transparency—and we need to stop another endless war.

Tariffs are driving up costs for small businesses in Queens and throughout the U.S. While their bills pile up, the wealthy and well-connected lobby in D.C. for relief. American families and Main Street businesses are already struggling. Why are they being asked to pay the price for these tariffs?

A quick update on DHS funding: If House Republicans really want to end the chaos at our airports, they should bring up the bipartisan bill the Senate passed last night to fund TSA, the Coast Guard, and FEMA — without giving another dollar to ICE.
