My personal Colbert moment was when he featured a travel ad campaign I co-created for a UK gay tour operator which promoted US destinations as "So Gay" Boston. Atlanta. Las Vegas. No problem "South Carolina Is So Gay"…The reaction? Not so gay The Governor got involved. And so did Stephen Colbert…

The contrast in this video between the white Tennessee Republicans and the quiet, dignified disdain of the Black man and woman we see walking away is just so stark. It is hard to watch the arrogance and laughing of these legislators as they strip Black voters of the power of their voting rights.
