Our farmers and ranchers are the backbone of our communities, & across the West, they have warned of the devastating impacts of a potential screwworm invasion in the U.S. Well, the first reported case is here with a screwworm fly found on a calf in TX. We will do everything we can to support them!
Congress issued a legally binding subpoena, & Pam Bondi chose not to comply. Instead of appearing for her sworn deposition she sat for a voluntary interview where DOJ attorneys stepped in to block answers. American people deserve the truth, survivors deserve justice, and Congress deserves answers.
FINALLY get to hear from Pam Bondi tomorrow on the Epstein Case—except the public won’t see or hear a single thing. Republicans who control the Committee unilaterally decided: NO cameras. NO video recordings. NO sworn oath. NO deposition. No matter what roadblocks they throw at us—we will not stop.
This week, we caught up with Sam Barncastle, the new director of the Family Farm Alliance and a 7th-generation farmer from Mesilla, NM—chile capital of the world! 🌶️—to talk water and ag. She was here to rep our farmers, ranchers, and talk about how we get through this drought! Keep making us proud!
New Mexicans are struggling right now while this Administration is robbing taxpayers & bleeding Americans dry. Our families are exhausted & hopeless—& deserve leadership that actually cares about them and the future. Which is why I am working every single day to make sure they’re taken care of!
So joyful to see my State House Rep, the one and only Rep. Pamelya Herndon today in Washington, DC. So grateful for her leadership on infrastructure, public safety, protecting children & families, & advocating for survivors of domestic violence! Thank you for your amazing leadership in New Mexico! ❤️
Happy Mother’s Day! To all of the moms and mother figures out there—I hope you have a beautiful day! We celebrate you! Today, I am thinking about my mom & all the humble and fearless women on whose shoulders we stand. To all missing your moms today—you are not alone, & I am sending so much love. ❤️
Next week we are headed into the belly of the beast—to hear directly from survivors. West Palm Beach, FL, was not only a testing ground for Epstein’s abuse of survivors, but the system itself. He rigged the system to escape justice for decades. A system he replicated in NM and Zorro Ranch.
We’re back on the road this morning to To’Hajiilee to celebrate the groundbreaking of their new community school! Securing $90 million for this school is one of our most meaningful wins! Updates on Oversight yesterday with Howard Lutnick and our field hearing in Palm Beach next week with survivors.
We’re here in Roswell kicking off our Southern District tour! Today we visited the New Mexico Military Institute and Youth Challenge Academy and loved meeting with cadets, students, teachers and staff and hearing your hopes for the future! We’re so grateful for what you’re doing to build our future!
Back in ABQ with some exciting news! This year our office is sponsoring a community garden at the Los Ranchos Agri-Nature Center! Celebrating ag in our community and a home for local wildlife and some new furry friends (watch until the end!)—if you’re in the North Valley, come stop by! 👩🌾🌱❤️
Meet our DC spring interns—Abhi, Sumaia, Andrew, Jaden, and Dana! From tackling legislation to supporting our constituents, our interns are at the heart of our work—and we are so grateful for everything do! ❤️ If you’d like to intern in our office, apply here: stansbury.house.gov/services/int...
