Today, I asked the NLRB Chairman if he’d oppose a White House liaison at the agency. He affirmed his belief that the NLRB is an independent agency and said he’d have no option to oppose White House interference “other than to resign. The NLRB must remain an independent agency.

Today Pam Bondi continued to deflect and evade accountability for her mishandling of the Epstein files—but justice doesn’t have a time limit. We will continue to center the survivors and fight for the truth.

This EMS Week, I'm thinking about Freedom House Ambulance Service, founded in Pittsburgh's Hill District in 1967 by Black community members who built the nation's EMS model used today. Recently, I introduced a bill to honor these hometown heroes with a Congressional Gold Medal.

I have to wonder what it will take for my Republican colleagues to act on gun violence. Columbine wasn’t enough. Sandy Hook wasn’t enough. Vegas wasn’t enough. Parkland wasn’t enough. Pulse wasn’t enough. Even their own President being shot at multiple times still wasn’t enough.

The Epstein investigation is proof we have a two-tier justice system: one for the wealthy & well-connected and one for survivors. Oversight Democrats took our investigation to Palm Beach where many of the horrific crimes—and failures of justice—took place. We will not stop pursuing accountability.

Millions of people will be disenfranchised by this extremist Supreme Court. To protect and restore our voting rights, we need court reform immediately. Expand the Court. Set term limits. Enforce ethical standards. Attacks on our voting rights are systematic—our approach must also be.

When super PACs like AIPAC or crypto pour millions into our elections, they aren't truly helping Black, brown, working class, and progressive candidates. What they're doing is drowning out our voices and our political power.

Super PACs have allowed corporations and billionaires to take hold of our democracy. That's why we have an affordability crisis impacting us from housing to healthcare to childcare. If we want to lower costs, we have to get money out of politics.

Today’s roundtable was a reminder of the immeasurable courage of the survivors of Epstein's abuse and the need to reform our broken systems. I’m grateful to the survivors and advocates for sharing their experiences and to Rep. Ro Khanna for convening us.

We have a healthcare system that prioritizes profit over people's lives. It's past time to pass Medicare for All so people aren't going bankrupt for basic care.

The Trump administration has spent the past year handing polluters free passes while families in western Pennsylvania suffer from some of the worst air quality in the nation, face rising cancer rates, and watch their neighborhoods flood year after year. (1/2)

Unserious conspiracy theories and wellness influencers aren't going to stop Black women from dying during pregnancy. We need serious policies and real solutions.

To round out Black Maternal Health Week, I had the opportunity to ask HHS Secretary RFK Jr. straight up what he's doing to ensure Black women don't die during childbirth. He didn't have much of an answer.

There's already precedent for former officials to be subpoenaed and testify before the Oversight Committee. Pam Bondi is no exception. She must be held accountable for her handling of the Epstein files.

We're not going to ignore what we see with our own eyes. And we will not allow the wealthy and powerful to gaslight and lie to us while they try and get away with their crimes.

For those keeping track, Pam Bondi is about to be out of compliance with not one but two lawful subpoenas if she fails to show up for a sworn deposition next week. Even after being fired, she's still legally obligated to show up. So we'll see her soon.

Bad news for Pam Bondi is good news for the rest of us, because we don't consent to authoritarianism and we'll keep fighting.

Attorney General Bondi, I've got some questions for you. See you in April, under oath this time.

Our constituents are begging us for affordable, accessible childcare. Yet Republicans would rather make policy to appeal to xenophobic YouTubers than help their own constituents. I introduced an amendment to actually make childcare affordable, and of course they rejected it.

The survivors of Epstein's abuse deserve justice and accountability, but Republicans don't seem interested in conducting a real investigation.

Let's be real: spies and espionage aren't the biggest problem facing our universities and institutions––the Trump administration is, as they target international students and faculty and strip funding from research and educational programs.

The investigation into Epstein was never going to be easy because these wealthy, well-connected people are not accustomed to accountability. But that's exactly why we're still pushing, so we can finally get some accountability and justice.

I have one message for Pam Bondi. I hope she's listening.

Regular folks, from students to clergy members, are standing up against Trump's authoritarian mass deportation agenda. We know that the power of the people is greater than the people in power, and right now the people are fighting back.

ICE is using data from AI-based school surveillance to aid & abet mass deportation efforts. If Microsoft is going to continue working with ICE, teachers are rightfully concerned about using Microsoft's AI tools in the classroom while students are deported. But Microsoft refuses to answer to them.

We know that there are two different realities in America–one for working people, and another for the rich, connected, and well-protected. But we're going to change that by finally holding people in power accountable.

Republicans turned a legitimate investigation into a circus, and now the Trump admin is using sham investigations to justify their violent immigration enforcement agenda that has killed American citizens and immigrants alike. We have to stand up against this authoritarian power grab.

My constituent and friend, Monica, was supposed to join me for the State of the Union, but her daughter went into labor after her son-in-law was detained by ICE. Her family's story is familiar to so many families that have been torn apart by ICE.

In case you missed it, I'll be introducing articles of impeachment against Pam Bondi. She's obstructing justice, weaponizing the DOJ against Trump's political enemies, and breaking the law. It's time she's held accountable.
