Oversight GOP launched a task force to expose abuses of power and violations of the Constitution.   Great idea! But it’s hard to take them seriously when they refuse to hold accountable the person violating the Constitution and abusing institutions daily.   Their hypocrisy is showing.

The House just passed the War Powers Resolution, sending a clear message: end Trump’s illegal war of choice in Iran. I’ll keep fighting to end this reckless conflict before more lives are put at risk and costs rise even higher for hardworking families.

I asked witnesses with firsthand experience of DHS violence what they’d say to “Border Czar” Tom Homan if he had shown up to our hearing. The violence and abuse we’re seeing today demand accountability from DHS officials.

We’re supposed to believe Epstein and Maxwell were the only people who knew? Bondi said she doesn’t know whether Trump knew about Epstein’s crimes before they became public.

Bondi ducked a simple question yesterday: Did Trump know about Epstein’s crimes before they became public? Given Trump’s long history and close friendship with Epstein, it’s hard to believe he knew nothing.

Today is about accountability. Bondi was instrumental in the Epstein files cover-up. She must explain who ordered the delays, who approved the redactions, and what role the White House played.

Trump’s DOJ targeting E. Jean Carroll, the woman he was found liable of sexually abusing, sends a chilling message to courageous Epstein survivors speaking out about the abuse they suffered. Absolutely shameful.

Pam Bondi was responsible for the full release of the Epstein files. Instead of transparency, the deadline was ignored and the files were illegally redacted. She needs to explain what happened and who she was protecting.

The Epstein files were required by law to be released by December 2025. Pam Bondi failed survivors, failed the American public, and failed to follow the law. On Friday, @oversightdemocrats.bsky.social and I will demand answers for this cover-up.

Trump keeps claiming a deal with Iran is near. But, negotiations are stalled, our strategic position is weakened, and taxpayers are funding another costly foreign war.   Failure at every level.

One year after Gerry Connolly passed, Congress has sent his final bill, the Gerald E. Connolly Esophageal Cancer Awareness Act, to the President’s desk. Even while facing his own diagnosis, Gerry kept fighting for others.

If this administration truly cared about accountability, they would release the full Epstein files – without illegal redactions and without excuses. Instead, Acting AG Todd Blanche wants the public to move on.   The only path to accountability is full transparency.

Trump sued the American people for $10 billion, then turned around and negotiated with the DOJ that works for him — producing a $1.8 billion slush fund his allies will oversee. This is blatant abuse of power.

Trump is stealing $1.8 billion from American taxpayers to pay off his MAGA allies & January 6 defendants. All while families across the country struggle to afford groceries, rent, or a trip to the doctor. I’m fighting back with my colleagues & filing in court.

As everyday costs keep climbing, Trump has made one thing clear: he is not thinking about you.   He is making decisions based on what benefits him – not what makes your life more affordable.

The failure of the MCC on the night Epstein died denied survivors the justice they deserved and prevent him from facing accountability his crimes. It is yet another example of the system failing survivors.

Since returning to office, Trump has tried to reshape election systems around his political interests. He gutted CISA – the agency that protects elections from cyberattacks and foreign influence.   He is trying to shatter trust in America's elections.

The night Epstein died, required cell checks never happened. Prison guards later admitted to falsifying records. Today, @oversightdemocrats.bsky.social and I will press for answers about the missing checks, the money trail, and failures inside MCC.

Lutnick lied about his relationship with Epstein, got caught, and then doubled down on his lie during his interview.  He should resign immediately.

(1/2) Not every step forward in Congress makes national news, but every step matters when it helps veterans.   This week, the Veterans’ Affairs Committee advanced my bipartisan Veteran Technology Employment Success Act, moving it one step closer to pass the House.

In Lutnick’s transcribed interview, I confronted him about claiming Epstein was too “gross” to sit in a room with — but apparently not too gross to have lunch with your family on his island. Make it make sense.

Secretary Lutnick must resign. The American people deserve honesty from those who hold positions of power. Cabinet officials are not above accountability, and lying to the public is a betrayal of that responsibility.

Trump admitted he’s not thinking about Americans’ financial situations “even a little bit.” At least he’s finally being honest. Because anyone who thinks $200 oil is “worth it” clearly does not care what Americans are going through.

Todd Blanche says it’s time to move on from Epstein, even though key enablers tied to the trafficking network were never interviewed. Despite the scale of the abuse, only Epstein and Maxwell faced prosecution.   Survivors deserve accountability. This cover-up must end.

Roza was recruited from Uzbekistan with promises of a modeling career. Instead, Epstein raped her for years & used her visa to keep her from escaping. He should have been behind bars. Alex Acosta’s sweetheart deal kept him free to continue abusing women and girls like Roza.

Epstein didn’t just exploit wealth and influence — he used control over visas to control women and girls. Telling her full story publicly for the first time, Roza told us today she feared being sent back if Epstein was displeased. That fear was key to maintaining control.

For years, wealth, power, and privilege shielded Epstein & Maxwell while hundreds of girls were trafficked and abused.  Today, @oversightdemocrats.bsky.social are hearing directly from survivors of Epstein’s crimes. Survivors deserve the truth & accountability to ensure this never happens again.

I don’t buy that Epstein and Maxwell were the only people who broke the law or knew what was happening. Tomorrow, we head to West Palm Beach, FL — where power, wealth, and influence allowed horrific abuse to continue unchecked for far too long. We’ll hear directly from survivors.

Trump called affordability a “line of bullshit.”  Tell that to the millions of families paying $4 a gallon for gas and watching grocery bills climb every week.

Piece by piece, Donald Trump is trying to dismantle the safeguards that protect free and fair elections — from weakening the Voting Rights Act to targeting voter rolls and undermining election cybersecurity. This is an assault on democracy itself. And we are going to fight back.

This Public Service Recognition Week, I had the chance to meet the incredible public safety communicators who answer 911 calls in our community. Their work is demanding, fast-paced, and essential to keeping residents safe.

Lutnick said Epstein was so disturbing he cut ties — while later taking his wife and kids to the convicted predator’s island for lunch. Watching him try to explain that contradiction was embarrassing. He should resign.

Republicans are running a two-track Epstein investigation: one for Trump’s allies, one for everyone else. Lutnick should have answered questions on video. The public deserves to watch and judge for themselves whether he told the truth.

If you serve in the Cabinet, honesty to the American people is not optional. Lying is wrongdoing. Secretary Lutnick lied about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, and today we will hold him accountable and demand answers.

At a time when families are struggling to afford groceries and gas, Republicans are trying to sneak $1 BILLION for Trump’s golden ballroom into the reconciliation bill. The same ballroom he promised wouldn’t cost taxpayers a dime.

Tomorrow I question Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. He already lied about visiting Epstein’s island. I’ll be pressing him for answers.

Bondi avoided rescheduling her hearing for weeks – it took filing contempt charges to bring her in.   We need answers: who authorized illegal redactions of the files, who blocked the full release, and why is the White House still covering this up?

Pam Bondi ignored a bipartisan subpoena. Epstein survivors still await answers only she can give. It took a contempt resolution from @oversightdemocrats.bsky.social to force her in.

Pete Hegseth is before Congress today for the first time since Trump launched this dangerous war in Iran. Hegseth can recite talking points for Fox News, but I've sat in classified briefings with him. He is in over his head. Our servicemembers deserve better. He needs to go.

Great news. Mere minutes after Oversight Dems file contempt charges against Pam Bondi for failing to appear on April 14th, she has agreed to follow the law & appear on May 29.

Instead of targeting James Comey, Todd Blanche should release the Epstein files. Or at least follow the evidence we’ve uncovered — by investigating the powerful figures close to Epstein, many of whom were never even interviewed by the FBI. Do your job.
