Last weekend at the "no kings" protest was a heavy reminder of why we are doing this. People are tired of a system that answers to a throne instead of the public. I spent the day talking with neighbors about the cost of living and the need for a government that follows the law.

Our education system should not be a for profit system but time and time again we see public school budgets slashed with a push towards privatization. A single education system would allow for equitable and equal access to education for all regardless of socioeconomic standing
