When I told Trump to jump in the Gulf of Maine, I meant it. This case was never about election security. It was about trying to bully states into handing over voters' personal data to an administration that had no right to it.

We need a governor who will do the right thing even when it’s hard. I’ve been proud to advocate for the LGBTQ community for my entire career and I’ll make sure Maine is safe for anyone: no matter who you love or who you are.

Today is tax day, and as your next governor, tax fairness will be one of my top priorities. I am calling for a freeze on property taxes for Mainers paid for by increasing property taxes on out of staters, so everyone pays their fair share.

The school funding formula needed an update and I’m glad the legislature made a change. We need to pay our teachers more and fully fund our schools.

How do you lower costs, expand coverage, and how do you pay for it? By taxing the ultra wealthy, doubling the property tax on second homes in Maine, and funding community and school based health centers. These are just some ways I am going to be the governor for a more healthy and affordable Maine.
