Throughout our hearing, Secretary Hegseth expected the American people to just pretend like they don't know that there's a problem with the war in Iran. Meanwhile, gas is $4.99 a gallon. The American people aren’t stupid.

Chinese vehicles are a threat to our economic security and our national security. I am joining with Senator Moreno to stop them from entering the U.S. market.

President Trump is using the federal government to go after his enemies. And if they can do that to a Senator imagine what they can do to a local clerk or a mom who goes viral on TikTok. The intimidation is the point, and it's right out of an authoritarian playbook.

We have to figure out a new way forward. I am interested in new ideas because the old way of doing things wasn’t working.

This President has repeatedly kicked our allies in the teeth and cozied up to our adversaries. This has real consequences for states like Michigan, especially when it comes to our relationship with Canada.

Our military knows the law and their duty to push back against illegal orders. Especially as the President suggests he wants the U.S. to obliterate an entire civilization.

The intimidation is the point, and Michiganders will not be intimidated out of free and fair elections. This request for Wayne County's 2020 ballots is based on discredited allegations. It's another attempt by President Trump to cast doubt on our elections before the midterms.

Instead of an emergency on Canada. We need an emergency on housing.

I see this as a national security issue. In a diverse nation like ours, if people can't work hard, play by the rules and get ahead and have their kids do better, we got a real problem.

 I can't think of a state that's more adversely affected by tariffs than Michigan. People here understand that all the back and forth is not helpful for the economy.

I know that our service members up and down the chain of command know their duty and the law to refuse illegal orders. Even as the Commander-in-Chief tells the world otherwise. Thanks @velshi.com for the thoughtful segment.
