With the Help of AmossGuy making level editing tools, I've been able to implement the scrapped Japanese Localization Sprites for Shovel Knight's Lich Yard! love the spooky Japanese Cemetery vibes and all the sprites look so good, not sure why they were cut!

Finally able to show off the gameplay on my Alarmo port of Celeste, had to get a phone mount lol Ofc, massive thanks to @maddymakesgames.com and @noelfb.bsky.social for making the original game, and once again, Tim for making the lua framework where we can make apps for this thing fairly easily

Turns out, Hitbox/hurtbox visualization IS still in the game, shoutouts to caster, with that, I decided I'd start working on my practice mode expansion! I've implemented a hitbox/hutbox vis cycler, as well as salty runback on controllers, a very wip savestate, 2HA parries! 1/2

Shovel Knights first taunt is finished! Trails need a lil bit more work but overall I'm happy with how it turned out!

Fixed some things! now we got a good camera angle for the end, and I fixed it starting too early

Porky is back in progress, the person commissioning this moveset took a bit of a break, but we're back in action! here's everything that's done so far (a WIP)

You might've seen that stat chart and asked, "What is Jump Hold Float?" and I asked the same thing, turns out it's an undiscovered mechanic! if you hold down the jump button as the characters that have a value there, you stall at the peak of your jump for that many ms!

The Return of Shovel Knights relics Dust knuckles acts differently from Rivals 1 but it's more faithful to how they act in TT! I think it works well for a platform fighter also Tow Anchor is an early wip, missing polish on the hitboxes and still missing the landing hitboxes

Big update on Shovel Knight! he now has all his tilts! Dtilt is a nice quick get off me tool, Utilt is a nice pop up move, good for starting combos, and Ftilt is kinda both! you can do the first two parts of Ftilt at will, but to get the third one you need to hit something!

after messing with console exclusive stuff on the pc version of the game for a bit, I ended up getting this body swap display debug menu to load! it still crashes when trying to load certain things, but look! it's pretty sick

So idk why the Alarmo is setup like this, but they have a frame skip enabled on all ui elements, so it’s not actually performing badly; they’re just capping it for some reason, here it is uncapped
