Voter turn out not only matters, it is everything. That's why the GOP is working so hard to either take away your vote or discourage you from voting. Your vote matters.

This lady's response is golden. Technology is never neutral. There is always a context and an intention.

Want proof? A company decided to test 5 leading AI to produce their own utopia using their products. All of them failed miserably. The only one that produced a society that didn't completely destroy itself was Anthropic's Claude, and it just produced robots that didn't want to live anymore.

The promise of AI is that the people who are building it promise to steal your intellectual property and not compensate you for it unless you force them. Beyond that, all they've got is slop, which, frankly, humans are perfectly capable of producing themselves.

If you think calling the GOP "nazis" is going too far, there's a case to be made that it's not going far enough. In NC, they proposed an amendment to their constitution that criminalizes any intervention w pregnancy, punishable by death, to be carried out by anyone. www.ncleg.gov/Sessions/202...

Tax is not theft. It pays for the infrastructure that guarantees your livelihood. This piece is great because it re-frames the discussion: the IRS is the army that protects you from the avarice of sociopaths like Musk, Bezos, O'Leary, Trump and Zuckerberg.

Thought provoking clip. This is the first generation that did not get its philosophical and cultural foundation from previous ones. They feed on only bits from an unguided source rather than getting a contextual narrative, which opens the door to splintered narratives and conspiracy thinking.

Love this. There is no more accurate depiction of tech bros than this.

Crazy how good these guys (Joshua Milo Music) are. I wish their tour extended outside of Germany.

I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in a movie theater than when I saw this. Still one of the silliest movies ever made. The world could use more like this right now just to take the edge off.

Yes. This hits on another level. This.๐Ÿ‘‡

Ohioans have a simply choice: an actual doctor or a billionaire conman who tried to sell a failed drug as a cure for Alzheimers. That's not opinion. That is verifiable and indisputable fact. This reel just adds more context to who that billionaire really is.

This clip is particularly poignant. For all those who 'whatabout' crypto's positive potential, they make no effort to regulate or even define crypto's overwhelmingly criminal reality. It's like comparing the value of a single honeybee versus a house-sized swarming hive of murder hornets.

@benmckenzie.bsky.social is making the rounds on podcasts an interview shows and you should listen to what he says about crypto. It could save your life savings.

There's an urban legend about Pink Floyd synching up Dark Side of the Moon with the Wizard of Oz. I prefer the Slipknot version. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜„

We need more folks in Congress like this ๐Ÿ‘‡. Elect this guy.

This is who Trump nominates to the judiciary: folks who don't know what the law actually says. I'm not talking about arcane precedents found in the Federal Reporter. These guys *do not know what the Constitution says*. How can they fair & unbiased arbiters of laws they do not know or understand?๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Trump has not "disappointed" the electorate; he has completely FAILED them while undermining rule of law & dismantling US leadership in the world. The money he spends on completely stupid s*** could be wisely spent making all of our lives better. Instead, he chooses to be the world's biggest turd.

"Affordability is one good line of bullshit'. Well, as lines go, it's one that seems to have a mountain of evidence that supports people's concerns. I'm guessing even some MAGA might take umbrage with this attitude. Pretty sure most "independents" will, too.

This argument applies to SOOOO many industries. Why are the senior executives NEVER the ones who suffer the consequences of their poor decisions. Ever.
