For the second successive day, Russia has hit the Nova Poshta terminal in Dnipro. This fire was apparently extinguished fairly quickly today with no news of injuries.

32 5

The sub-humans continue their despicable crimes in Kherson. Today an ambulance was hit in broad daylight - caught on security camera, it's incontrovertible proof of both a war crime, and I would say genocidal intent too. #RussiaIsATerroristState

The Spy Dossier site has come up with the goods again, showing the moments after Ukraine's drones hit the missile carrier Boykiy. They say one person was killed when the UAV hit the ship while it was in the dry dock at Kronshtadt, St Petersburg.

88 14

While Ireland, with a restrictive constitution, does quite a bit to help Ukraine, it's not enough when on the other hand there's little security against spies and the country actually helps oligarch Deripaska to make missiles to kill Ukrainians. @caolanrob.bsky.social has followed the trail..

Putin's envoy says tomorrow the US will sign an agreement on the design of a tunnel linking Russia and Alaska. Kirill Dmitriev added relations between the two countries are important. He also claimed Germany wants to restore the NordStream pipeline.

55 19

Some Russians today laid flowers at the grave of Alexei Navalny. The opposition leader, murdered by Putin 2 years ago, would have been 50 today. At Borisovskoe cemetery, security controls were set up. Navalny's parents, Lyudmila + Anatoly Navalny, attended the memorial service.

91 15

The highways of Crimea also now becoming a graveyard for oil tankers. #UkraineSanctions

153 19

And many other examples of burned out trucks and fuel tankers around occupied regions. This one spotted in Crimea.

101 5

Why hit one logistical lorry when you can get a few at once? Seen in occupied Yenakieve, near the city of Donetsk. A drone is said to have arrived.

102 16

And another one's gone! Ukraine's logistics control is even extending to taking out boats with increasing regularity. In the early hours of this morning, on the north-east coast of Crimea, Dr One hit the invaders' border guard ship "Svitlyak" with many military visible on board.

92 17

NATO's ambassadors are gathering in Kyiv today, and Head of the defensive alliance, Mark Rutte, posted this video from one of the places most badly hit in Ukraine's capital in the recent attack. He calls out Russia's terrorism, pledging Putin will never win. #SlavaUkraïni

85 15

This is how it looked at the time when the drone hit the tower block in thee Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv. A reminder it failed to explode and no casualties were reported.

64 5

Rivne region has come under increasing attack in recent weeks. Today, power outages in Sarny are reported after the latest drone strikes on Rivne oblast. UAVs were flying very low over the region today.

51 9

Germany has failed to get a place on the UN Security Council. 🇩🇪FM Johann Wadephul blamed Russia for stirring up votes against it due to its support for Ukraine (+ Israel) Portugal, Austria, Trinidad & Tobago, Kyrgyzstan + Zimbabwe won seats alongside the 5 permanent members.

85 17

The White House continues to defy the will of the American people, & Congress, by withholding cash allocated for Ukraine's defence. Sec of State Marco Rubio finds it tough to balance lawfulness with the autocratic President he works for, only able to say Kyiv will get it "soon"

1/2 The other strike of note during Russia's night attack so far, came in Pavlohrad...

28 6

Not the worst night so far in Ukraine. But a ballistic missile was fired at Kharkiv. Whether it failed or not I don't know, but officials are saying there's just a dry grass fire in the Slobidskyi district and no injuries. This is the only photo or clip of the strike.

28 4

2/2 Another view, of the fire itself at the mystery factory in Tula, thought to be part of Russia's military production. 3 people died in the incident. A criminal investigation has been launched. There have been drone alerts in Tula today, but it may not be a Ukraine hit. #RussiaOnFire

74 5

1/2 Another interesting #RussiaOnFire incident today too. In the city of Tula, a blaze, said to be preceded by an explosion at a factory, on Lenin Street, near Tula Arena in the south of the city. It is unlabelled on all maps, but locals describe it as an ammunition plant.

94 12

2/2 Several high-rise buildings and a kindergarten were also damaged in the evening attack on Dnipro. But the other main target seems to have been another branch of Nova Poshta.

40 8

1/2 Russia's ballistic attack on Dnipro hit the northern suburb of Slobozhanske. Six people have been injured, five hospitalised. Three are very seriously ill. Here we see the missile hitting a food warehouse of the ATB supermarket chain.

42 8

Firepoint released video of its new FP-7 interceptor missile. It's planned to be a future part of Ukraine's air defence against ballistic missiles. Much needed too - most of the country is still under another alert now.

77 12

Russia claims 8 people have died when Ukraine hit a bus in occupied Yenakieve. The Russian installed governor added that 11 more people were injured, 10 of whom were hospitalised. State media outlets released CCTV footage claiming to show a drone striking the vehicle.

50 4

2/2 Logistics fire control: Exhibit B -Another strike at Prymorske, occupied part of Zaporizhzhia

89 11

1/2 In case you were wondering, yes Ukraine has also been continuing its fire control of logistical routes used by the invaders in occupied Ukraine. Exhibit A - Melitopol'

99 15

A reliable, independent channel in St Petersburg has published this video, saying the thick black smoke and burning at the oil terminal, has suddenly stopped. A small amount of whispy white smoke remains. Burning stopped about an hour ago, according to locals.

77 6

Back at St Petersburg's giant refinery, things keep going pop!

107 20

More on Ukraine's strike on the Russian naval base Kronshtadt, St. Petersburg. This port is the base for Russia's Baltic Fleet. Dr One easily bypassed remaining air defence easily and it looks like at least one ship is on fire.

71 11

I mention this in case something comes of it - Exilenova+ published this, saying it's from locals in Uglegorsk who heard explosions But they don't stipulate exactly where. Two Uglegorsks are in the very far-east of Russia, out of drone reach, the other a district of Rostov

114 9

3/3 Progres has plants dotted around Russia. This one in Michurinsk, Tambov region produces high-tech equipment for aircraft and missiles. #UkraineSanctions

141 16

2/3 In Michurinsk, in Tambov Oblast explosions were reported by locals. No word from authorities. Waiting to see if the Progres military plant has been hit.

105 8

1/3 It was not just St Petersburg feeling the effect of Ukraine sanctions overnight, either. This is in Tambov region.

135 22

13/13 Last one for now, from St Petersburg, giving a further clue to locals' anger in Russia's second biggest city. The attack continues. No air defence - Ukraine's drones just swooping low over tower blocks. A LOT of Russian swearing in this clip.

196 29

12/ Russia now claims 50 drones have been shot down over St Petersburg this morning. No-one believes it. The summer sunshine faces being obliterated by the thick smoke enveloping Putin's home city, the smoke every bit as dark as the mood among Russian war criminals.

205 33

11/ Hundreds of foreign visitors may travel over this bridge while attending #SPIEF2026 There is no hiding place for Putin anymore. EVERY report will mention it. Discontent at home will grow. The vultures will gather to overthrow/replace him.

194 27

9/ I have news from St Petersburg.... air defence has woken up. Of the literally 100s of videos I've waded through, I finally heard some rounds being fired. But still the drones come, more explosions are heard as rush hour gets underway.

238 29

8/ "Look, it's burning right next to the houses" - not the sort of video clip Putin expected from the jewel in his international crown. The impotence of "Mighty Russia" laid bare. Residents, visiting VIPs, know Putin can't protect them, thankful Ukraine didn't want to hurt them

253 39

7/ The drive to SPIEF conference has been made more interesting by Ukraine's intervention. So we know the port has been hit but also the refinery, the largest complex in NW Russia. The Governor reported 30 drones were shot down - does he mean intercepted by the refinery/port?

221 33

6/ Columns of smoke reach for the sky on a summer's morning across St Petersburg. Thankfully for visiting guests, Ukraine's sanctions avoided civilian targets, unlike Putin's hits on Dnipro + Kyiv Piter's port & the oil refinery are suffering. Rename it the "Uneconomic Forum"?

243 31

5/ It's truly staggering to see how many hits Ukraine has made in St Petersburg - one wonders how Russia's air defence performed so badly. The poor foreign dignitaries can't escape either - Pulkovo airport's been closed for 3 hours now. Here the port is hit - again!

370 68

4/ It's total humiliation for Putin in his home city. Just days ago press releases saying 130 countries will be represented at #SPIEF2026 Among them "Donald Trump chose Rodney Mims Cook, Jr., Chair of the US Commission of Fine Arts, to be his representative" Many of them woken by sounds like this!

344 64

2/ Russia expected the eyes of (part of) the world to be on St Petersburg today. It's the start of #SPIEF2026 But instead of chatting about Russia's premier Economic Forum, there's just one story in town, with luminaries from Africa and Afghanistan wondering if it's safer at home!

320 77

1/ Got to start though with a sub-thread about St Petersburg. I closed last night's thread by saying the majority of Ukraine's drones were heading north and maybe some good news in the morning. Well if you like breakfast 'bavovna', there is good news. Russia's 2nd city is burning.

306 79

Frightening footage from Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district which suffered numerous missile strikes early this morning.

47 10

In Kyiv today 4 medical facilities were damaged by Russia's bombing. This is the largest, a polyclinic in Holosiivskyi district. It's one of the busiest outpatient clinics in the district, serving about 20,000 patients.

38 9

Another 4 bodies are pulled from the ruins in Dnipro. 15 in the new death toll in the city as rescue efforrs continue. Two women and a man were the latest victims.

39 10

Looks like it was 2-for-1 night on refineries in Russia's Krasnodar region. The Ilsky refinery was hit yet again - at least the 16th documented strike on this facility. #RussiaOnFire

83 11

Havoc was also caused in the early hours of the morning in Russia's Krasnodar region. The council said debris fell at an apartment building in Slavyansk-na-Kuban, however it turned out to be the Slavyansk oil refinery and rail fuel tanks caught fire, possibly more.

65 5

A nice hit for Ukraine too in Russia's bordering Belgorod region. This is in the town of Alekseevka, where the Melzavod Mining Plant is thought to be alight. #StopRussia

71 8

Ukraine continues to win the logistics war on the mainland too. Another double strike here, thought to be outside Prymorsk, near Berdiansk in occupied Zaporizhzhia region (unverified). Two targets burning and a delay of other lorries, which could be military in civilian trucks.

71 10

2/2 During the night residents near Dzhankoi, in occupied Crimea, were awoken by this huge explosion. Who could possibly have guessed Russia would store explosives/ammo at a public railway station? Oh, everyone guessed!

63 15

Russia keeps hitting apartment blocks/houses, Ukraine picks off military targets. This was posted today by one almost roasted Russian invader. He says "this night we were attacked by Ukrainian drones - look at the results. Everything burned down." Location and casualties unknown.

46 6

Seen in Kyiv... During this morning's massive attack, a deer sought shelter under a car. Thankfully it emerged later.

79 10

The total injured in Kyiv city is now 65, Mayor Vitaliy Klychko announced in his new post. He adds that in various districts of the city, FOUR medical facilities were damaged, as well as apartment and non-residential premises. A reminder four people died in Kyiv.

91 38

Anger is rising in illegally annexed Crimea. widespread reports of price gouging as the fuel crisis continues. This taxi driver in Yevpatoria reports queues for the remaining fuel reaching 2 or 3 km.

105 23

Authorities in Dnipro say the latest person killed was a firefighter. People are also still probably trapped under the wreckage of a 4-storey apartment block. A two-floor residential building was also hit. In addition, a fire-station was also damaged in the blast wave.

67 22

A short time before the Zircon missiles were fired, another new fire broke out in Kyiv. A drone smashed through the roof of one of the garages, close to the Krister Hrad housing development.

77 16

West of Kyiv centre, the Medovyi residential complex was hit.
