What The Trans?! 🏳️‍⚧️

The protest is ending, with a final speech from the organisers thanking everyone who came today.

A trans man, who managed to go to Tavistock as a teenager, describes his experiences getting puberty blockers and HRT. He goes on to talk about how it is safe and how he is heartbroken about the fact that they are no longer available under the NHS.

The 4th speaker talking about how Freedom of Information requests prove that there are no risks with trans people in toilets.

The organiser starts the protest's first speech by discussing how this guidance risks pushing transgender people out of daily life. It threatens putting all people in a position where they may have no facilities to use if they do not conform to gender stereotypes.

The onus is on the service provider to exclude you. Don't comply in advance 💯💯

The protest ends with a few final protest chants.

A cisgender ally has been platformed to speak about her experiences being challenged in single sex facilities, and how this guidance will affect her.

The first speaker has been platformed, to talk about their experiences being discriminated against by the police for being outed as transgender.

As the march reaches its end point (the national maritime museum), a few last protest chants are done before speeches commence. These will be open mic speeches, limited to 5 minutes per speech in duration.
