Since 2022 we’ve been working to survey potential old-growth forests in the 65% of Algonquin Provincial Park that is open to logging. We found trees up to 427 years old, more than 3 times older than the park itself. Most are unprotected, and one stand is already on the chopping block. #OldGrowth
