The value of SISKEL AND EBERT as a TV show wasn't lowered by the fact they'd routinely offer ludicrous, incorrect opinions with thoughtful but bad reasoning. It was raised by it. It helped the public better see why sicko takes are valuable in art criticism.

Modern releases of TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME remove the first 15 seconds of audio and it is extremely frustrating, because that audio is tonally and musically important.

Just saw that there's an active netplay community for GOLDENEYE 007, wondered what modern competitive play would look like, and peeked at a tournament's Grand Finals set it's absolutely goated lmao

Just settled on a name for the project :)

There's a lot of other difficult choices, like when to add music into TMP footage, when to leave it out, and what music to select. These are artistically challenging and have drastic impacts on the tone and meaning of scenes. Here I opted to use a fuller version of the music for the scene from FWWM.

Combining footage often means having to get a bit inventive with available resources, and sometimes that means going outside of FWwM and TMP itself. To extend this musical source cue I had to grab it from a soundtrack release. Reverb effects were then added for tone & to suggest a direct connection.

The edit also adds a number of new title cards to TMP footage, either to match the fonts to FWwM, or add title cards described in the script but absent in the film. The main title was especially challenging, as the added text had to match the slight shake and halation of the original text.
