In communities where ICE is trying to build concentration camps, @saveamericamvmt.bsky.social is highlighting moral voices saying, “No. This is not who we are.” This is what it looks like to practice resurrection in an authoritarian crisis.

The resurrection of Jesus is a celebration of the force more powerful than bombs and guns and tyrants who threaten to “rain holy hell” on people. Love is stronger than any strongman.

Rev Broome is right: a budget the cuts $880 million from Medicaid would take healthcare from 36 million Americans. That’s not cutting waste. That’s an immoral assault on poor people.

Never forget: whenever political leaders take more & more extreme measures to hold onto power, it’s because they are afraid of the people’s power to come together & demand something better. Rev Barber is right: now is the time to intensify & embolden our agitation for a Third Reconstruction.

We have to get beyond the myths that divide us to repair the breach & reconstruct a government that serves all of us.
