"Zoox Stuck in Traffic Again" OP: tiktok.vegas1st Notice 2 police cars w lights flashing were facing directly at the failed robot but apparently just waiting it out. A cop can't drive a Zoox like a Waymo. ppl really do get used to broken robots in the middle of busy streets and intersections.

"my team is working on it...we're gonna work on getting you guys out of the intersection" in Las Vegas Zoox telop Not a very confident sounding delivery. The telop may have seen alotta stubborn artificial immobility. "Safe to say I will only be taking Uber from now on" OP: tiktok.icedmatchashop

"what do you do when you get pulled over but there’s no one to pull over?" OP: tiktok.magneticnorse Prob should press the Waymo telops call button while reconsidering how you make life choices. A little concerning that the robot was still moving though pulled over.

Another video of this incident shows there was room for the robot to pullover to let the police car pass. Notice the robot needlessly hesitated as it neared pedestrians. Some would call this 'conservative tuning' while others can see the artificial incompetence, ie poor pedestrian understanding.

Wait for it. A Zoox robot blocked a key intersection in downtown San Francisco: Howard & Fremont (~block from Salesforce Tower) the passengers "jump out and they were running" OP: tiktok.chukydf13 Always be prepared to abandon robot. Good chance a Zoox telop assisted this robot. Lotta practice.

A Dallas deputy constable had to move a Waymo robot out of the way of emergency services responding to a fatal apt fire. A Waymo telop apparently tried & failed to move it. The officer's body cam video w audio of his interaction w a Waymo telop through his takeover & driving of Waymo's car to MRC:

But not your shoe, prob SF. Your robot's terms of service and/or their telop enforcement may vary. O: tiktok.mcflyparty

Apparently from this and other videos, it is prob ok for your dog's head to be outside your Waymo robot: 300 block of Hyde St, San Francisco OP: tiktok.your_travel_daddy

Yet another (113+) Wrong Way Waymo, reportedly, in Austin. 500 block of E 7th St (fire truck) "My Waymo drove into oncoming traffic, blocked a fire truck, and got honked at...all within the span of 5 min ... But it’s totally ok bc I got a whopping $10 of uber credits" OP: tiktok.xxtammytv

At SXSW London, Waymo CPO Saswat Panigrahi tread gingerly around the crash in which their robot stopped atop a teenager's foot until EMS could get there to lift the robot. The teen had opened the robot's door at 35 mph and it had slowed to 4 mph when he got out, per Waymo. OP: tiktok.itszinebxo

3 more stuck Waymo robots 2 blocks away during the same event: 21st between Mission and Valencia, San Francisco Such a small event too. Good geofences make good neighbors. OP: tiktok.thirstyintern

Waymo never fixed their looping bug: Howell Mill and Collier Road, Atlanta A McDonald's drive thru & parking lot isn't an edge case. "I noticed a Waymo stuck in the drive-through at the McDonald’s across the street for over 20 minutes, it just kept circling the parking lot" OP: tiktok.dronetone_

Waymo v Waymo: 19th St near Valencia, San Francisco 19th is easily wide enough to pass. Never send a robot through a pedestrian dense neighborhood, eg Mission during Porchfest. The SFFD fire engine was prob headed back to the station ~3 blocks ahead at Folsom & 19th. OP: tiktok.skippy_203

Yet another (111+) Wrong Way Waymo, drop off in crosswalk askew a double yellow heading into oncoming traffic: W 29th St at Guadalupe St, Austin, TX "today...this Waymo dropped off 2 ppl and sit there for like 5-10 mins blocking the traffic even the pax were in shock" OP: reddit.Highway-Wonderful

Another illegal pick up in a bikelane by a Waymo robot: 2100 block of Market St, San Francisco It's legal for Waymo to stop in the traffic lane for pickup if there isn't a safe spot by the curb, but never legal to stop in the bikelane for pickup, as they so often do. OP: tiktok.maytecamarena67

Waymo's newest San Francisco lot often has more robots in it than any state except CA, AZ, or TX. They all go in/out of this one spot on Brannan St. That intersection w 5th was blocked by at least 6 failed Waymo robots during the power outage which was before the lot opened. OP: tiktok.laharihere

Rare video of an uncrewed Waymo robot in Michigan, prob Detroit area. Waymo or the Google Self-Driving Car Project has been in the Detroit area for a very long time. Their first Magna factory was there and one of their two top/sr telops centers is there. OP: tiktok.conniemarie677

Waymo demonstrating the future of transportation is a 3 person job: Congress & Fannin, Houston, Texas The Harris County Courthouse is to the left at the start of the video. Notice the safety driver and spinning lidar. "When that Waymo decides to clock out mid-ride" OP: tiktok.chrishughesmusic

Waymo had a trucking division named Via. They shut it down in 2023 just before their SF ridehail launch as part of an 8% staff layoff and to focus on cars. Via had Waymo's worst fwy crashes reported to NHTSA, so far. It never drove uncrewed, AFAIK. Newly posted old video. OP: x.Eduardo_figuera

Waymo v Waymo: Hartford near 17th St (~half block from Market & Castro), San Francisco Hartford's wide enough for cars to pass & has many curb cuts for robots needing extra passing space, if only Waymo would/could train their robots to use them. Instead backup thru crosswalk. OP: x.VeronicaMerode

18th St between Guerrero and Dolores, San Francisco ~block from the Waymo v Zoox standoff posted earlier today. Notice SFPD's smart/experienced enough to box the robot w two police cars. Never know when a stuck robot will take off. Not like they make eye contact. OP: tiktok.shotofculturepodcast

"Waymo tried to drive us right into a police standoff" OP: tiktok.restingbreeface, LA area. Do you feel lucky? How about experimental stochastic robot edge case odds controlling your life lucky? As long as there wasn't a crash to mess up the one stat they like, it doesn't seem to matter to Waymo.

300 block of Turk St, San Francisco Scofflaw as an automated service. FWIW, I saw a Waymo illegally stopped in a No Stopping Anytime zone today, but it wasn't a bikelane. OP: x.StanleyRoberts

Another Waymo robot screwed up in a road construction site. Dallas. This is why Waymo shutdown on fwys. Their robots frequently violate construction sites and keep going until workers stand in front of them to stop them. NHTSA investigated this but didn't make Waymo fix it. OP: tiktok.oscarito_usa

"Wednesday afternoon...a Waymo stalled out in front of a gas station, which caused a traffic backup and made the line of cars behind it have to go around it." OP: tiktok.kimiefabulous Roosevelt by 7th St, Phoenix Roosevelt is also a sharrow.

Yet another (110+) Wrong Way Waymo and another passenger who bailed out of one in the middle of traffic: Santa Monica Blvd at Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, California Notice it was off by ~2 lanes. How could it screw up so badly? They also serve who only sit in traffic waiting for Waymo telops.

Waymo v Zoox: 17th & Dolores St (~half block from Mission High), San Francisco How many telops from how many companies in how many places did it take to derobot this one intersection? "Their standoff blocked traffic like this for 2 light cycles" OP: tiktok.crzybrdldy

Waymo 6th gen robot, prob manually driven: I-85, Charlotte, NC Waymo's lane keeping should be ~foot to the right better than that car was traveling. Waymo robots tend to be within inches of center, or very rarely way/weirdly off, eg swerving between lanes for no reason. OP: tiktok.wcnc_charlotte

Waymo is back, in Atlanta, according to OP who wrote "I seen about 15 of them today" inc this one a bit closer & prob longer than the others. Unknown if Waymo reopened ATL ridehail service as well. Atlanta is forecast ~inch of rain starting tomorrow through the weekend. OP: tiktok.sydneysymone888

Another example of a Waymo robot forcing its way through multiple lanes of oncoming traffic to make a left turn into a corner parking lot instead of making a right turn the safe way. Melrose Ave at Vine, LA Not 'safety first' but prob not illegal, which could be Waymo's motto. OP: tiktok.artofpau

The old robot stop sign trick. I've seen variants of this inc a guy w a stop sign shirt from ~2 years ago. Still hard to believe Waymo robots are this unaware though. "disclaimer: we found this stop sign on the side of the road, we did not take it off its pole" OP: tiktok.ataxingwoman

There are still a few Waymos on fwys, all with human drivers. I estimate Waymo drove uncrewed/driverless on fwys for ~2 million VMT before they it shutdown. Waymo announced they'd passed 1 million uncrewed fwy VMT in Feb 2026. Waymo began uncrewed fwy testing in Jan 2024. OP: tiktok.polinpco75y

Zoox opened a "rider lounge" in one of my favorite buildings near Union Square: Sutter and Grant, San Francisco Fixed pickup spot kinda defeats the purpose of ridehail. Seems more like what do we do w all this Amazon money to sweeten robotourist videos of our amusement ride. OP: tiktok.gattis__

2 1

So many 'Waymo stuck in a drive thru line' videos, esp from LA & In-N-Out. Most are just one robot. Waymo robots seem to have no clue what a drive thru is or why these lines of cars exists by them, instead behaving as if it is a queue for a regular turn or stop sign or light. OP: x.FilmThePoliceLA

He also has questionable theories about who is the surveillance threat posed by these vehicles. Anyway, best view of a batch of Zeekrs custom made w Waymo's cutouts for their sensors. Waymo needs ~2,500 of these doing ridehail to make their EOY million/trip-week goal. OP: tiktok.johnnyboyrowe
