How does a VHD player work tou might ask? Here's my Victor HD-9500, a late model VHD player, in action. Once the caddy is inserted for enough, the machine will grab the disc out in it's own tonthe platter. The stylis mechanism will move across the entire disc to read it.

Introduced in 1987, these are audio CD singles or EPs that could include enough video to include your typical music video on. They were made to work with laserdisc players that could read the discs, as seen here.

Oginome's videos are available remastered on youtube in HD, so while VHD can't come close to matching that quality. It is fun to have these on a format from the 80s idol heyday. Yakuza/LAD fans may recognize this song as the track "Dancing Queen" in Y0 is an homage to.
