"It's nearly 100". P1s enjoyed our 100 square bingo today. We used a 100 square to quickly find numbers by seeking out their patterns. A game always goes down well in Early Years!

Sports Day underway. The p1s are fast,fast,fast!

Some wonderful train work today and a cool tunnel. I enjoyed time to play with the children today. Was lovely to see them communicating and playing together.

We practised sharing equally today by dividing cube amounts with Mario and Luigi!

Today we worked on CVC words, left and right and how to film slo-mo videos on the iPads! We had such a giggle watching these back!😂

This week we were learning about positional language including left and right. We also revised what we know about what plants need to grow and planted some seeds to look after! 🌱

We spent PE outdoors today with p6s. They taught us skipping and relays. We had great fun practising for athletics and sports day. Next steps...egg and spoon balancing!

There was a buzz in the air this morning as the children explored our Spring potions malleable tuff tray as they played. They enjoyed using different fine motor materials to create perfumes!

Thanks to the p7s for organising our Spring Hunt today. We had to find the baby animal who would match the mother. We had a brilliant time.

We had a play today at Pirate's Treasure in our Numeracy Rainbow Play area. We had to use addition skills to see who could count the treasure to win the coin. Well done p1.

We learnt about personal space and boundaries today. We discussed how we can avoid being space invaders and even practised declining or accepting others into our space bubble. It’s ok to say “no, I need more space”!

We loved our karate session today! What a great way to keep our mind and body fit! We listened carefully to the instructions, took turns and gave it our best. Well done P1!
