BREAKING: A federal judge dismissed the DOJ’s case against my office. Arizonans’ personal identifying information is safe and I will continue doing everything in my power to protect your privacy.

When you think about Arizona’s elections, think about major league sports. Arizona has built a robust election administration system and we should not tear it down just to appease a few sore losers.

The constitution gives states the power to run elections and Arizona excels at it. We’ve required documented proof of citizenship at point of registration and ID at polls for 20+ years, and we have a robust mail in voting system that serves nearly 80% of our voters.

The articles circling today regarding the Maricopa County Recorder and information which may have been shared are as troubling as the original DOJ request for sensitive voter data from June 2025. (1/2)

"[The federal government] operates on the back side of [election administration]...They're not supposed to be injected on the front side, intimidating voters, causing us extra grief and cost in planning and trying to figure out where they are."

Congratulations, Apache Country! Vote centers protect and expand voter access. This move puts voters first.

Voting should fit your life. Your time, your vote, and your access to the ballot box are too precious to be the center of cheap political games.

As your Secretary of State, I will never shy away from a fight to protect your vote, your rights, and your privacy.

In the US, we demand a fair fight in our elections. As long as I am Secretary of State, it's going to stay that way. Don't get discouraged. State & county level administrators make sure we deliver secure and accessible elections without fail, regardless of the noise coming from Washington D.C.

Extremists in TX showed us exactly why extremists in AZ are wrong to strip away the vote center model. The vote center model is affordable, secure &convenient for voters no matter where they live. As long as I’m SOS, I will work to ensure every eligible voter can cast their ballot how they see fit.

Arizona’s elections are run by Arizonans. Our voters and counties deserve every available resource to ensure our elections are secure and accessible. We really can have it all, folks, but the legislature must pay for it.
