At last night's debate, we offered a different Democratic Party: transform the economy, end the wars, serve the working class.

Whoever represents NY-7 has an obligation to Puerto Rico — on the island and in the diaspora. That means getting the vultures off their backs and fighting for self-determination.

We have the resources to welcome migrants. And we have a responsibility to stop the wars, coups, sanctions and climate chaos that drive so many people from their homes in the first place.

When my constituents were abducted by ICE last fall, I was arrested at 26 Federal Plaza simply for trying to inspect the conditions of their detention. We will abolish ICE. And until that day comes, NYPD must not collude with this fascist agency.

We need to respect the sovereignty of other countries. No more saber-rattling against Cuba. And end the blockade.

Nope.

As an M train rider, I'm used to being disappointed by our public transit. But that's exactly why we need to get more ambitious, not less. The IBX will be transformative for Brooklyn and Queens.

It's June 3rd and more 77% of this district just paid rent. For many, it ate up an entire paycheck. Congress can and must do so much more to build affordable and social housing, protect tenants, and make it possible to live a good life even if you don't own a home.

You should be able to Google something the old fashioned way.

Two and a half years ago, Israeli leaders clearly stated their intent to carry out a genocide in Gaza. And that's exactly what they did. I was in the streets with so many New Yorkers protesting our complicity and to free Palestine. Antonio Reynoso stayed silent.

Not one more dollar for Israel and its genocide.

This year's state budget was a compromise — and deeply compromised by some of the Governor's agenda. But I was so proud to lead the effort to deliver $100 million in new funding to build out publicly-owned renewable energy right here in New York.

What kind of Democratic majority do we want to build? I know my answer.
