This district is home to more artists than almost anywhere in the country but rising costs are pushing them out. I'm running to build an economy where time and space for creativity isn't a luxury reserved only for a lucky few.

NY-7 won't decide whether Democrats win a majority in Congress. But it will shape what we do with that majority. Will we continue to ignore the majority who wants to join a union, to win Medicare for All, and to end the endless wars? Or will we chart a better path?

This year's state budget was a compromise — and deeply compromised by some of the Governor's agenda. But I was so proud to lead the effort to deliver $100 million in new funding to build out publicly-owned renewable energy right here in New York.

One week ago, eight million people took to the streets across the country to declare that there are no kings in America. In a moment of wars and genocide abroad, deportation and repression at home, few things matter more.

Not one more dollar for Israel and its genocide.
