So many media outlets bending over backwards to convince me that I didn't enjoy watching M&G

IGN's news podcast today is "here are the most watched SW shows from May 4 of last year" I did a double take, but they did two minutes breaking down data from 2025. There seemed to be no point. Hundreds of interesting fan events took place over the weekend, but last year, kids liked Andor. 🤷

It was doubly difficult because this was a creative person in their own right, someone who can make all kinds of things I cannot make. They are not musical, but know the effort involved to make something from nothing. But then again, it's just for fun. It's only music. When has that ever mattered?

I'm hosting a Star Wars trivia event next month. Kat has been a huge help writing Qs because a) I'm so nerdy I dunno what counts as easy vs difficult for others and b) whether this audience will be casual or hardcore. I want it to be fun and rewarding for everyone. But damn it's tough to calibrate.

This morning I revised and refined and I like where it is. Good cross section of different media, some easy ones so people feel smart, some tricky ones that people can figure out from context, and some stumpers to make the hardcore feel superior.

Thank you! It was a massive project and we expended a ridiculous amount of effort, so hearing that it was worthy of repeat listenings is all we could have hoped!
