I am so tired. I am tired of a government which claims to be progressive enacting the most hostile and dehumanising policies against minorities we have seen in decades. I am tired of its supporters trying to deflect from the harm Labour is causing. I am tired of all this bullshit inhumanity. 2/

Sure as the sun rises and sets we will see people argue Pride Month is no longer needed. It is. Attacks on LGBTQIA+ rights, especially for trans and non-binary individuals, are growing globally. Rights are being undermined constantly. It takes more than a month of pride, but that month is important.

Had enough of this now. Please remember to water your autistic friends, some of us are not doing well

Covering numbers of people crossing the channel without context is pure clicker counter reporting, which presents a false impression about the number of people seeking asylum, why people seek asylum in the UK and the risks they face in doing so. All of which increases division and hostility.

Apologies, I know I say ECHR instead of EHRC at times in this video, I blame the heat. Seeing people claim EHRC guidance doesn't strip rights because it "clarifies"Equality Act and Supreme Court ruling. It doesn't. It actually goes further by basing gender on other people's perceptions of you. 1/

Yesterday the government laid the EHRC guidance before parliament, and, let's be brutally honest, it's bad. The "clarity" it brings is that, once again, trans individuals lose rights. It weakens protections and opens the door for further discriminatory. That helps absolutely no-one.

Getting the house ready for viewings to sell and spend far too long looking at different types of bark chipping to freshen up the garden. Welcome to the 40's

That Reform is a nasty little racist party more intent on causing division than actually coming with any useful policies is hardly new, but this really takes the biscuit. Attempting to blackmail and threaten voters with some playground politics of performative cruelty is a new low even for them.

Very quick explainer on why, and how, sending people to Syria, particularly with the information detailed in this article about this person's circumstances, could potentially violate international law, an increasingly common issue when it comes to this government's anti-asylum policies.

There is something supremely messed up by people in UK, which is objectively already fairly hostile to those seeking asylum, complaining that more people seeking asylum are not sent back to be killed. We already have a government actively pushing inhumane policies. We don't need it to be made worse.

Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Disney, or Ghibli.

Not sure my wife was too chuffed about me playing this song while she cleaned the skylights.

Spoke to LBC News about Shabana Mahmood's supposed "landmark deal" with France to prevent people seeking asylum in the UK and how it is just a continuation of the same failed hostile policies of the last government.
