The Conservatives and Reform backed Trump’s idiotic war in Iran. Since then, it’s dragged down the economy, driven up inflation, and now the US is openly questioning British sovereignty over the Falklands. This is what sucking up to Donald Trump gets you.

Why are so few world leaders trying to bring an end to this conflict through a diplomatic solution? That would be in the interest of the British people, the Iranian people and all those around the world suffering the consequences of Trump’s illegal war.

The NHS is central to the British way of life. The government must end the soap-opera politics and focus on standing up for our NHS. We need real solutions to cut waiting lists and a genuine commitment to fixing health and social care for everyone.

British values are worth defending. So are the institutions that protect us from authoritarian creeps like Donald Trump.

The Treasury is seeing a windfall from high fuel prices, while families and businesses are taking the hit. Instead of pocketing that extra cash, the government should give it back to the British people to keep our country moving.
