The Michigan Attorney General can’t end Trump’s stupid war with Iran. What I can do as AG is make sure corporations aren’t taking advantage of this crisis—or any other—to rip you off. And I will.

Surveillance pricing: bad in Maryland; bad in Michigan. Our Legislature should pass Rep. Noah Arbit’s bill banning the practice. And—with or without legislation—I’ll use every power of the Attorney General’s office to prevent it.

Now that we’re on to the general election, some thoughts about how we’re going to shift our messaging. (Spoiler: we’re gonna stand for what we always have stood for).

Democrats will win in November if—& only if—we offer something different, not more of the same. Former MDP Chair Lavora Barnes knows that better than anyone. That’s what our campaign offers. I hope you’ll vote for us at convention on Sunday so we can take the first step towards winning in November.

It really is this simple: when somebody gives money to a lawyer, they don’t expect that lawyer to turn around and sue them. That’s why I’m proud to be the only candidate in this race never to have taken a corporate PAC check—and to turn down all money from utility PACs, lobbyists, and CEOs.

Lessons from RBG.

You—yes, you—were likely never supposed to be allowed to cast a nominating vote for statewide Michigan positions. These decisions were supposed to be made in smoke-filled rooms by party insiders. But today, the Michigan Democratic Party’s rules allow you to vote. SIGN UP (free) at bit.ly/FreeMDP.

Ann Arbor showed up to protest what we’ve seen from ICE across the US. Nobody—including federal officers—is above the law. But lawyers won’t win this alone. As in Minnesota, it takes all of us, working together, to put and end to this. I’ll be right here alongside you, in the streets & courtroom.

It shouldn’t take people dying in the streets of Minneapolis for us to stand with communities who are under attack. We need leaders who will stand up when the attacks start—not just when they reach a fatal breaking point.

My mom isn’t AI. But if the Trump Administration and scammers get their way, you might be seeing a lot of AI moms in the future. I’ll fight back as AG.

Nobody’s above the law. Though federal officers have immunity defenses that can be raised in court, the Trump Admin is wrong to suggest that ICE officers are categorically exempt from state law. Nor can the feds simply tell the state not to investigate, or not to charge. Nobody’s above the law.

What’s worse than paying sky-high prices at the grocery store? Having an algorithm jack prices up on you—specifically. And as AG, you can bet I’ll fight back.

My comms team said I had to do a “67” video. I wanted to do one about reproductive freedom. This is our compromise.

Ball don’t lie! I’ve never taken a dime in corporate PAC contributions—and I won’t.

Right now, the government’s holding hearings on a Trump proposal that could eliminate climate regulation in the US. State AGs can—& must—fight back. I will. I’ll fight to stop Trump’s EPA from toppling the first domino to end climate action. And I’ll fight at every step to protect our future.

Is your rent too damn high? It might not be “just the market”—it could be collusion. As Attorney General, I can’t bring housing prices down by myself. What I can do—and I will—is make sure that nobody’s unlawfully jacking up rents higher than they should be.

Corporations shouldn’t be allowed to jack prices up based on who people are—or what they’re going through. Yet companies are shifting to AI price models that could do just that. Not on my watch. As AG, I’ll use every legal tool to ensure the price remains the price, for everyone.
