Justice for Troubles survivors - both civilians and veterans - is so important, and I’m pleased that the government is introducing legislation to deliver the answers they deserve. See my question to the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland here 👇

Earlier today at the Foreign Affairs Committee, I questioned Sir Olly Robbins at length about the vetting process for Peter Mandelson. I can understand why he decided not to tell the PM the full story but also why the PM judges that he should have been told.

I have secured a debate on Hammersmith Bridge for next Tuesday! Please write to me with your personal experience of the closure at fleur.anderson.mp@parliament.uk - I want your voices to be heard in Parliament.

I got a ride in a Robo taxi! Soon if you book an Uber and have agreed you might get a Wayve automatic car - anywhere in the M25. I took a test drive on busy streets around Kings Cross ….

It's #WorldWaterDay 💧 2.2 billion people still lack access to safely managed drinking water. Having worked in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), I know how fundamental it is to international development. @wateraid.bsky.social

Today marks the anniversary of the 1993 Warrington bombing, where 2 children were killed and 54 were injured. We owe justice to the 3,500+ lives lost during the Troubles. The world is watching; reconciliation in Northern Ireland can offer hope to peace processes everywhere.

Brilliant trip to Berlin with the Foreign Affairs Committee. We met with ministers and experts to discuss three key issues: current foreign affairs, UK-German relations and the threats posed by disinformation.

Happy St Patrick’s Day! ☘️ Putney is home to more than 2,500 Irish citizens, with many more celebrating their Irish heritage - including in my own family. Thank you for the extraordinary contribution you make to our community. Sláinte!

I held my annual International Women’s Day event, bringing Putney women into Parliament. Great speakers and an amazing audience. Looking forward to hosting again next year! #iwd

I was proud to stand up for the Equality Act during #PMQs, one of Labour’s proudest achievements, protecting people from discrimination at work and in society.

Four years on from the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, we remember the lives lost and stand firmly with Ukraine. 🇺🇦 The UK continues to provide vital military support, humanitarian aid, and long-term funding, because Ukraine’s fight is a fight for freedom and democracy.

M&S is back in Putney next week! Almost a century after it first opened in our community, Marks and Sparks will be great for local jobs, shoppers and Putney High Street.

🚦 Traffic update for Putney, and it’s promising news! Changes to traffic lights around Putney Bridge Road & the High Street are working, journeys are now quicker. A real step forward for drivers, bus users and residents. However, we still need more progress.

📣 👋 Message to the CEO of BT The booths are still here…… Two unused phone boxes are stopping a new bus lay-by on Putney High Street to let traffic move. Wandsworth Council & TfL have started preparatory works, but need BT to act.

Great news for residents! Wandsworth Labour Council has frozen council tax AGAIN 🧊 That means Putney households continue to pay the lowest council tax in the country, with the council also providing fantastic services.

Settlement expansion in the West Bank and East Jerusalem is causing unimaginable suffering. The UK must ban trade with illegal settlements, to uphold international law and protect Palestinian civilians.

A proud moment today as the Government launches the new England National Cancer Plan. I’ve long campaigned for a travel fund for children and young people with cancer, so it’s encouraging to see this included thanks to charities and families. The plan delivers real change.

In Parliament today I spoke out to protect Sudan’s children.

Enough is enough. Hundreds of residents from Putney and Roehampton came together at Hammersmith Bridge to demand progress after nearly seven years of closure. Thank you to @leoniec.bsky.social and Cllr Simon Hogg for joining me in calling for urgent action to reopen the Bridge to vehicles.

Today, Labour backed a new law to scrap the cruel two-child benefit cap. This will reduce child poverty. In Putney, hundreds of families have been denied support because of this policy, punishing children for circumstances beyond their control.

It’s rare a Conservative admits “we didn’t do enough” but that’s what happened on BBC Politics London, when I discussed Labour’s reforms for leaseholders. Labour’s will cap ground rents at £250, bring transparency to service charges, and much more. Real reform, long overdue.

Good news for the Ashburton Estate! Wandsworth Council has agreed to invest £60,000 in new signage for the Tildesley Road shops. I’ve seen the designs and they’ll make a real difference for local businesses. Great to see this support being delivered locally.
