The beautiful environment we have – it's our job to protect it, just like we’d do with any heirloom. Protect it. Care for it. And hopefully pass on something just as beautiful as the way that you found it.

When we took office, Charlotte Hall Veterans Home was in a state of complete disrepair and decay, and had a 1-Star rating. We ended the contract with the previous operator, and our Board of Public Works brought in a new operator. Now, Charlotte Hall has a 4-Star overall rating.

The President wants to focus on funding his war of choice instead of the critical programs that children and families rely on. But here in Maryland, we’re going to keep investing in our people.

The courage of Marylanders changes and saves lives. I am proud to sign the Vax Act and the Jillian and Lindsay Wiener Short-Term Rental Safety Act into law.

We’re pushing every lever at our disposal to put more money in people's pockets and holding big companies accountable. I’m thankful that Democrats and Republicans in Annapolis have come together to deliver this win for Marylanders.

We’re going to take underdeveloped state-owned land near Metro or light rail stations and turn it into housing so people can live near transit and get to wherever they need to go. It’s a plan that’ll help lower housing costs, increase ridership, and bring in nearly $1.4 billion in tax revenue.

By working in partnership with our law enforcement, we're delivering historic results for Maryland, including Wicomico County’s largest cocaine seizure. I’ll continue working with our law enforcement partners to give them the support they need to continue holding violent criminals accountable.
