Charles "Felony" Bennett, formerly "Krazy Horse", stops Kimura "Philip" Minoru in 7 seconds. Then proceeds to have the wildest celebration then tries to pick a fight with Wanderlei Silva who is sitting in the crowd. Charles will not win a fight for almost a decade after this win.

Never a good sign when they have to create a make shift privacy tent in your corner after you got spinning back kicked in the dick.

3 0

Yuta Kubo hits Masaaki Noiri with a spinning back kick to the dick after the bell. A double foul! The ref doesn't seem to care.

1 0

Masaaki Noiri brutalizes Mosab Amrani's left leg no matter which stance Armani takes. Bit of a longer clip, but this is some mighty fine leg kicking.

1 0

Noiri turns a high knee into high kick from up close.

1 0

I'm always amazed at how high and in close Noiri can land his knees. He gets a little too excited trying to chase Mosab Amrani down and hilarity ensues.

0 0

Noiri letting the folks know that it was his knee that cut Liam Harrison.

2 0

Trading knees between Noiri and Harrison.

0 0

Low blow number 1!

0 0

With @jackslackmma.bsky.social talking about Phil Davis' hammerlock finish of Tim Boetsch but not remember the exact opponent, figured I'd show it off. Davis was a very frustrating fighter to watch, but I loved his ground work so much.

The booth believes the kneeto the body in the clinch is what initially hurts Laosstar. Singhasurat stops him with a body shot after spending the entire fight hitting Laosstar with left body kicks and knees in the clinch. Singhasurat is the interim RWS Minimum weight champion!

1 0

Laosstar goes for a kick aborts, then just does a little silly thing that's probably just a weird check to keep Singhasurat from kicking his standing leg. Even in a fight he's losing, he's having fun.

0 0

Laosstar goes to the body and Singhasurat meet him with an elbow as he clinches Laosstar up.

1 0

Singhasurat firing several knees off in the clinch that Laosstar manages to break and fire an overhand right off the break. Singhasurat has been terrorizing Laosstar with left kicks and superior clinch work all fight.

Kirill wobbles Nuenglanlek with a lead left hook before backing him up to the ropes. There Kirill hits Nuenglanlek so hard that Nuenglanlek's subconscious decides "You know what? Let's get out of here." and rolls out of the ring.

1 0

Nuenglanlek catches Kirill with a high kick then moments later a teep to the chin. If Nueglanlek had done more of a front kick with the ball of the foot vs. teep, then maybe Kirill isn't conscious?

1 0

Nuenglanlek performing what I can only call a sensual Wai Kru.

3 0

A real fun opening to round 3 between Karl Tannian and Kirian Scouppe.

1 0

This is one of my favorites.

1 0

Karl catches Kirian low. Thankfully the ref is there to help readjust his cup?

2 0

Karl Tannian works his way into the clinch with nice elbow off a teep feint and proceeds to just really annoy Kirian Scouppe from there. Really enjoy this ref as he's been letting Karl and Kirian work in the clinch before breaking them. Muay Khao IS disappearing but it ain't from foot sweeps.

1 0

While not a lot goes on in the clinch, this might be one of the longest clinches I've seen allowed in RWS that isn't just two dudes trading knees and elbows constantly.

1 0

Erdem catches Shermukhammad with a leg kick as Shermukhammad throws a spin kick that in the moment I thought cracked him right in the dick. It didn't. He instead stops the fight with a leg kick.

0 0

Kaensak gets flashy leading up to his rear elbow finish of Yuan. He'd been looking for it quite a bit in their short fight and found it with devastating results.

0 0

A most fortuitous slip for Yuan as Kaensak just misses with his elbow because of it.

0 0

Late replacement Yuan catches Kaensak with a well timed cut kick that takes Kaensak off his feet. I like to think that Kaensak's facial expression is of him being "Oh! I have to take you seriously."

1 0

RWS finally showed they're section of the "Best Spectaculars" highlight video with the fighter's names, so I could finally track down and show you all this. Jaosuayai Sor Dechapan knocks down Freddy Venum Muay Thai with a jumping downward elbow. It isn't a knockout, but it sure is cool!

2 0

Narak's only shining moment in her loss to Maria Eduarda. Waited too long for her moments and let Maria out point her on volume.

0 0

Probably the best moment of the 5th round.

0 0

Lakhin knocks Petchalek down twice and almost a third time as the 4th round ends. I'm shocked Petchalek didn't go out on either of those.

1 0

I do love watching Lakhin work in close. Uppercuts and body work.

2 1

Yuji Takeuchi wins the hook duel in devastating fashion! Wins the inaugural Krush 60kg title and hands Masaaki Noiri his first professional loss!

0 0

Yuji Takeuchi and Masaaki Noiri earn a rare double knockdown trading hooks in the the 3rd round! Noiri tries his best to play it off, but we all saw what happened.

6 0

Fairly competitive but not crazy round 1. Round 2 starts with what might be more of a slip than a knockdown, but things are starting to heat up.

0 0

Fake the kick throw the right hand. Not quite a Superman punch since Noiri doesn't leave the ground, but still cool!

0 0

Oh, a super sweet left hand to the body followed by a helluva right hand afterwards? Of course I'm sharing it with you all. Plus the knee followed by the same side kick, which one of my coaches loves to make us drill.

2 1

So that failed jumping knee opened a cut on Urabe and Noiri wants you to know it was his knee that did it. Some true Nak Muay spirit there. He's so cool!

1 0

First, the sound on that low kick. Second, Noiri is still trying to find himself as a fighter. He hasn't quite be come the super aggressive inside fighter just yet. We do seem some flashes with the knees. His soon to be trademark jumping knee doesn't land and Urabe tosses him to the ground.

1 0

Urabe trying to get a little vertical with a jumping knee and Noiri trying to find the cut kick.

1 0

Noiri attacking Hirotaka Urabe's rear leg. Love the use of the posted arm in the second kick to get in the way of Urabe's lead hand and hide Noiri's chin from Urabe's rear hand.

2 0

Big Brothering another human being is timeless. Shavkat Rakhmonov submits Geoff Neal via big brother choke.

1 0

Igor Vovchanchyn with a lead right hook that breaks John Dixson's nose. I might be crazy, but I think Igor throws the mizuki geri/kikuno kick/toe kick to the liver.

7 1

Igor hits John Dixson with a lead left hook then switches to southpaw.

1 0

Leg kick that Igor steps into southpaw as he weaves and throws a left hook before exiting back out in southpaw.

1 0

Don't run at Igor! Not a knockout blow, but a very nice knee to the body as John Dixson rushes in for a takedown.

1 0

The problem with a lot of early Vale Tudo/MMA bouts is that while holding the cage is good for control it really limits your offense vs. having a clinch and head position to pin them in place. Dixson does pick up one of Igor's legs for a takedown that Igor pops out of.

1 0

John Dixson clips Igor Vovchanchyn hard enough to make Igor almost drop to his butt. Igor collects himself enough to move off the cage, throw a big loopy right, and clinch up with the big man.

2 0

After being dismissed as having no grappling as a Jeet Kun Do guy, John Lober outgrappled Eric Heberstreit to an RNC win. Some JKD places are very much about adapting to new emerging concepts and others are very much traditionalists. Gonna guess John is apart of the former.

5 0

That sure is a way to say Jeet Kun Do.

3 0

Piecing up Varelans all fight. Igor throwing hellacious right hands and one drops Varelans for the win. Uncharacteristically, Igor keeps going after Varelans. I'm guessing the crowd may have amped him up too much. Igor does make sure to go over to Paul for a talk and hug to show no hard feelings.

2 0

Varelans with a obvious rush for a takedown, but Igor shucks him to the side and flurries on him against the fence. Head and body, we love to see it!

1 0

After winning a his last fight in his usual cautious style, Igor comes at Paul Varelans with the heat. I don't know if Igor thought that Fred Floyd was a better grappler or striker and needed mind his P's & Q's. Igor doesn't seem to have the same qualms about Varelans.

2 0

John Dixson scoops Igor Guerus' front kick and turns it into a tree top. Dixson moves to mount and Guerus starts to give his back as Dixson starts throwing punches. Ref steps in real quick before Guerus gets hurt.

1 0

Fred Floyd calls it quits after getting kneed in the dick, potshoted with power, and repeatedly kick in the lead leg for almost 15 minutes without a break. Well, there was a break to fix Igor's hand cover. I won't call them gloves, cuz they're not.

1 0

Yeah, man. I'd also rather be acting on a tv set then fighting in a cage. Even if I wasn't fighting Igor Vovchanchyn.

2 0

After being told that the only two ways to stop a no rules bout are by knockout or submission, Valeri Nikulin's corner stops the fight by throwing in the towel. Paul Varelans is your winner.

2 0

OH NO! THE WORST THING HAPPENED, GERRY!

2 1

Fighting for the children of the world? Man, I hope something bad like getting knocked out in 15 seconds doesn't happen to you, Jerry Harris.

2 0

We have John Dixson getting hit in the dick a couple of time by Alexander Mandrik. Dixson weathers that, some foot stomps and a takedown attempt before he catches Mandrik in a guillotine.

1 0

John Dixon with a sweat little sacrifice elevator sweep to kick out of Alexander Mandrik's single leg. Bas Rutten tells us that fighting is is going down and standing back up. Real sage advice from El Guapo.

1 0

Roman Tikunov decided the best way to win this fight it charge like an asshole at Igor Vovchanchyn. A back stepping right hand drops Roman and Igor knows he's won. Igor just doesn't like following up on guys he's dropped unless he absolutely had too. If he does, then it's going to be bad.

2 0

Igor drops Sergey Bondarovich, fellow Absolute Fighting Championship 1 fighter, with a jab. The crowd wants more and they get it as Igor lands a solid high kick that drops Sergey enough that the ref stops the fight.

1 0

Cannot find the entire event, but here we have Igor Vovchanchyn's first bout at Mr. Powerman 1996! One solid punch is all it takes for Nikolai Yatsuk and ref to decide maybe this one is over.

6 1

After what felt like 9 different times this fight could have been stopped by the ref, Ricardo Morais finally get Mikhail Iliyukhin to tap by RNC. He is your first Absolute Fighting Championship tournament winner! Yay, I guess!

0 0

Ricardo Morais got a double ankle sweep and took Mikhail Iliyukhin's back and proceeds to beat the shit out of him. Here we have Morais switching from elbows to the Taiko drum stlye hammer fist technique. 95% of all these strikes are aimed at the back of Mikhail's head.

1 0

Mikhail Iliyukhin tries for a second chin in the eye submission this tournament and Morais responds by gouging his eye back. Mikhail cries foul and I laughed way to hard at this. "Ref, he poked my in the eye while I was jamming my chin into his! How dare he!"

1 0

Being affiliated with a Gracie at this tournament. Going on to be apart of Team Nogueira in the future. Morais' gaurd consists of holding, stiffing arming a guy away from him and punching off his back.

3 1

Mikhail Iliyukhin finally giving Ricardo Moraise a fight for the first time in this tournament.

2 0

More headbutts from Mikhail Iliyukhin until Morais remembers to get a hand on his face to stop them.

1 0

Despite what the lying biopic The Smashing Machine showed you, this what headbutts in guard actually looked like.

2 0

Mikhail Iliyukhin with my new favorite tactic of body body headbutt.

1 0

Mikhail Iliyukhin with a suspiciously easy win over Akhmed Sagidguseinov.

1 0

After some wild and ugly punching exchanges on the feet, Viktor Erokhin secures a takedown. Top position is short lived as Ricardo Morais hits a sweep and proceeds to beat Erokhin like a drum until Erokhin taps out. Never love watching a dude just smash a guy in the back of the head.

1 0

A longer clip where not a lot of happens, but I want to give a little context as to why the ref would have stopped the fight. Evgeny Golovikhin has been trapped under Akhmed Sagidguseinov for most of the fight and didn't really look like was getting out. Ref stepped in and saved us all.

3 0

Evgeny Golovikhin tries a palm strike to the dick while trapped under Akhmed Sagidguseinov's side control. Maybe palm strike is too generous a word. It's more like a dick tap.

2 0

After trying straight armbars, a keylock/kimura, an anklelock and a mounted triangle. Mikhail Iliyukhin gets Igor Vovchanchyn to tap by jamming his chin in Igor's eye socket.

3 2

Not a whole lot of headbutting going on in this tournament. So, far just Igor doing it off his back.

0 0

Because deep in every Russian fighter's blood up until like 2014 is the need to fall back for an ankle lock/achilles lock/heelhook/kneebar. Mikhail Iliyukhin falls back for it and doesn't quite have it. Igor does his best to try and punish Mikhail. Including almost pantsing him.

1 0

Mikhail Iliyukhin gives up on the straight armbar, but almost locks in a mounted triangle. Igor works his way out a bad spot enough cause a scramble that ends with back on his back, sadly.

2 0

Mikhail Iliyukhin going real hard for a straight armbar on Igor Vovchanchyn. Nothing doing as Igor manages to worm out just enough that Mikhail has to give up.

3 1

Get some real whacky waving inflatable tube man striking, but Viktor Erokhin and Romav Komkov were probably sucking wind before this fight started. I'll allow for that. Also, Komkov's short say Yakuza them. I've been wondering all event what they said and I finally got a clear shot.

0 0

Got sidetracked looking at records and found my way to Toby Imada. A real road warrior. Imada had his big moment submitting Jorge Masvidal at Bellator 5 by inverted triangle choke.

2 0

Ricardo Morais makes pretty quick work of Maxim Tarasov once he gets Maxim off the fence. Ref with a real quick stoppage once Morais gets his ground and pound going. Not quick as in bad, but quick as in good instincts by the ref.

0 0

IAFC not willing to play nearly as much Nirvana as they were ZZ top as we hit the semi finals.

1 0

After almost 2 minutes of step up low kicks and half hearted jabs, Evgeny Golovikhin and Vadim Gurlev commence to scrapping. Evgeny uncorking the high heat that puts Vadim out enough for the ref to stop the fight.

1 0

After rules lawyering with officials or bitching a lot and throwing your family name around, Renzo Gracie gets Lima vs. Vovchanchyn started a second time. I believe this is the punch that broke Lima's nose and caused the ref to stop the fight. Again.

5 0

Igor Vovchanchyn dispatches Adilson Lima brutally. Igor is one of those guys who seems to get Vale Tudo. He's not super exuberant about finishing dudes he thinks are done, but when he does. Boy...it's mean.

8 0

Mikhail Iliyukhin catches Andrey Besedin with a one armed guillotine from top half guard that looks bizarre.

0 0

Viktor Erokhin catches Vasily Kudin with an achilles lock. I should have kept score of how many that is for this event. Thankful none of these guys know Shinya Aoki's variation otherwise dudes would be in much worse shape.

0 0

I believe Romav Komkov (black shorts) is a replacement for somebody. He and Rustam Talibov have a short, sloppy and fun fight before Romav catches the fight ending armbar.

1 0

Ricardo Morais traps Onassis Parungao in the front headlock and fires knees until Onassis' corner throws the towel in. Seeing their fighter cannot escape, they make the right call.
