Chaco Canyon is a UNESCO Site, a national park, & sacred land for #NewMexico ’s indigenous communities. Somewhat inevitably, Trump’s Bureau of Land Management wants to open 300k+ acres of land around Chaco to oil & gas drilling. They’ve given the public just 7 days to comment — that was 3 days ago.

Why would Trump and his cronies erase the scientific proof that pollution poses a threat to human life? Because if they can kill the underlying science, they can kill the regulations for our cars, power plants, and air quality that 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 of Big Polluters, Big Industry and Big Oil.
