Kids should be playing with their friends, learning at school, and going home to see their families. No child should be ripped away from their family, held in detention. Any country that detains children has lost its moral compass.

Trump is acting like an authoritarian — and it’s not just hurting us here at home, it’s affecting people across the globe. From his illegal war of choice in Iran to the boat strikes in the Caribbean, he is acting without respect for democracy or the rule of law.

The President of the United States traded TENS of MILLIONS of dollars in stocks this year. This should be illegal. Members of Congress, the President, and Vice President should ALL be banned from trading stocks. That’s why I’m leading bipartisan efforts to do just that.

The Supreme Court’s recent ruling in Louisiana v. Callais lets states systematically dilute the power of Black and Brown voters through gerrymandering. It is an insult to Black and Brown Americans and threatens our democracy.

Today, we were supposed to vote on a War Powers Resolution to end Trump’s illegal war with Iran. Republican leadership cancelled that vote because they knew we’d win. It’s shameful. Keep up the pressure — and we will pass this when the House comes back.

This is one of the biggest presidential corruption scandals in U.S. history. We’ve introduced a bill to stop it. We cannot let this stand.

Trump is tanking our economy and making it harder to live — and now he wants to hand ICE and CBP another $70 billion instead of investing in Americans. We must push for better.

13 U.S. servicemembers killed, at least $29 billion of taxpayer money wasted, gas prices skyrocketed, and thousands of civilians in danger. Trump’s illegal war in Iran has now lasted 81 days. Congress must end this now.

Republicans held a hearing on the Southern Poverty Law Center and “manufacturing hate.” The reality is that the Trump administration is targeting SPLC for its work against white nationalism & extreme right-wing ideas. If we want to talk about hate, let’s look at Trump first.

Wendy Hernandez Reyes. Aliya Rahman. Nasra Ahmed. Destiny Jackson. Marimar Martinez. Renee Nicole Good. These are just some of the women who personally know or have experienced ICE and CBP's cruelty. Not another cent.

Women and children have borne the brunt of Trump’s cruel immigration actions. And yet Republicans want to give $70 BILLION MORE to ICE and CBP. Shame on them.

Last year, Trump and Republicans gave ICE and CBP $170 BILLION — even as they cut healthcare for millions of Americans. Now they want to give ICE and CBP another $70 billion. We won’t stand for it.

Trump said it himself — he doesn’t think about Americans’ financial situation. Whether it’s grocery prices or ticket sales, this administration is letting monopolies run unchecked — meaning prices go up for you.

Trump’s China summit was just a big show of pomp and circumstance.

Donald Trump now wants a $1.7 BILLION slush fund to pay the January 6 insurrectionists and his MAGA allies. This is an incredible level of corruption that YOU, the taxpayer, would be paying for.

Republicans want to force local and state law enforcement to comply with federal mass deportation policies by threatening to cut off billions in funding. This will NOT work and is a dangerous threat.

As the Pentagon continues an illegal war that has killed thousands of civilians and wasted billions of taxpayer dollars, I will absolutely NOT be voting for any new funding package. We must continue to introduce War Power Resolutions until we can stop this war.

A devastating story has come out about a US citizen child, Orlin, who was murdered after ICE deported his mom. This tragedy is an abject failure by ICE, and it’s why I will not give them another cent. We must stop the cruelty and lawlessness of this administration.

Marco Rubio is going to say whatever pleases Donald Trump. But the American people heard it for themselves: Trump does not care about your financial situation.

Immigrants who are afraid that local law enforcement will turn them over to ICE are less likely to report crimes or serve as witnesses. This is why local policies that distinguish federal civil immigration law from local criminal law enforcement are important and keep us all safe.

Republicans are using their anti-immigrant agenda to distract from the real issues at hand.

Republicans held a hearing to attack communities that want everyone to feel safe calling 911 and reporting crimes. Let's set the record straight: It's this administration's mass deportation campaign and lawless ICE that make us less safe.

Trump doesn't think about your financial situation.

Has there ever been legislation introduced in the US to adopt Sharia law? No. Does Sharia law require Muslims to violate US laws? No. Are there any US courts that follow Sharia law? No. Despite all this, Republicans held another hearing to promote their islamophobia. Disgusting.

The United States must act with the full force of its moral responsibility and diplomatic power to restore peace and democracy to Sudan once again.

Today, I supported a resolution to reaffirm the US-Korea Alliance. South Korea is a critical democratic and economic partner, especially to the Greater Seattle Area, and Korean Americans have helped to shape our communities.

Americans are getting nickel-and-dimed by greedy corporations in almost every purchase they make – and even in kids’ sports. I’m supporting the Let Kids Play Act to get the private equity and corporate investors that are driving up costs out of kids' sports, and ensure that ALL kids can play.

GOOD NEWS: My resolution to call for an end to the humanitarian crisis in Sudan just PASSED with bipartisan support in the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The people of Sudan deserve safety and security — America must do everything we can to stop this conflict.

The ongoing civil war in Sudan is one of the worst humanitarian crises the world has ever seen – more than 400,000 people have been killed, over 14 million forcibly displaced, and there is catastrophic hunger. I’m calling on my colleagues to act urgently to end this war.

Instead of addressing the systematic dilution of the Black vote or Trump’s unconstitutional war, Republicans held another anti-Muslim hearing to distract from Trump’s disregard for the Constitution. I will take no part in this bigotry.

$1 billion for a ballroom… because that’ll fix things.

Trump’s attacks on minority communities across this country are extremely isolating. We ALL belong.

Enrique is a TPS holder who has been legally living and working in the United States for over 13 years. If his TPS is terminated, he could be deported to unsafe conditions immediately — a limbo that millions are living with under Trump.

Under FISA Section 702, any administration can spy on Americans without a warrant. It’s a ridiculous loophole that Congress has temporarily extended. Mike Johnson should immediately bring an amendment to the floor to require warrants and stop this unconstitutional surveillance.

The polling proves it — Trump is wildly unpopular. Between his illegal war in Iran and Trumpflation Americans are outraged at this administration.
