From New Jersey to Texas, ICE is brutalizing innocent people who have committed no crime. These facilities—prisons—have become black boxes where people are denied basic necessities like adequate food, water, and healthcare.

Under Donald Trump, ICE has become an abusive, rouge organization. Governors like Texas Gov. Greg Abbott have made local police departments into agents of that abuse.

ICE does not want you to see the cruel reality for children and their families locked up at Dilley. Children like Victor and Monserrat who were picked up at a bus stop miss their dad and school—and it’s not just them. 93 children remain locked up and it’s not right. #FreeOurChildren

ICE targeted elementary school students, Victor and Monserrat, and their stepmother, Maria Betania, at the bus stop in San Antonio. Now, they are locked away at the Dilley trailer prison. I met with them at Dilley yesterday.

The President broke his promise when he dragged the nation into war with Iran. He even threatened genocide against Iran, calling for "the death of a civilization."

Last night, the President tried to convince the American people of a war they do not want and cannot afford. Instead of dragging the U.S. into another forever war, the Trump Admin should focus on lowering the cost of things like rent, childcare, and healthcare.

The Trump Administration needs to do more than just offer travel tips to Americans stranded and in danger in the Middle East. If other countries can send planes to evacuate their citizens then our country should be able to as well!

Secretary Rubio's remarks indicate that Israel put U.S. forces in harm's way by insisting on attacking Iran. And the administration was complicit—joining their war instead of talking them down. This is unacceptable of the President, and unacceptable of a country that calls itself our ally.

Trump ripped up the Iran Nuclear Deal in his first term. Then he used the threat of Iran gaining nuclear capabilities as a justification for war. We need to get back to the negotiating table, block Trump’s war that taxpayers do not want, and protect American troops.

Nearly half of San Antonio exports go to Canada. Trump's tariffs on Canada are directly hurting businesses and making life more expensive. Yesterday, I reminded my colleagues that Congress has a constitutional authority over tariffs. Last night, I voted YES to block Trump's tariffs against Canada.

Americans, we are living in a time of viciousness. We are living in a time where speaking the “wrong” language or having the “wrong” skin color puts you in danger. Congress must disband ICE and impeach Kristi Noem.
