(1/3) Yesterday, Congress heard from our Sr. Staff Attorney for Latin America Isabel Carlota Roby, on the state of exception in #ElSalvador. Isabel underscored that U.S. authorities knew, or reasonably should have known, the extent of human rights violations that go unpunished under Bukele’s regime.

Kennedy announced his candidacy for the presidency of the United States. “I run to seek new policies,” he said. “Policies to close the gaps that now exist between Black and white, between rich and poor, young and old, in this country and around the rest of the world.”
