There is a particular order that we follow. It may be unconventional but it works out best for what we do. 1. Check for clear. 2 Chamber flag in. 3. Drop the magazine. 4. Put the rifle back on SAFE. If done this way there is ZERO chance that the gun will be loaded, it it is supposed to be unloaded.
