People can try to understand. But the shitheads of the world will always try to pull a stunt to bring others down. They wont succeed. Not while we breathe. This track is called "Execution" featured in Sonic Seducer and written and recorded within one two hour session. Me being assertive...

Heat Death is a bit whimsical I suppose... pop corn anyone? What about blancmage? Check out the rest of the album too! Sounds great on vinyl amd as a digital download 😆 Is it just me or is it bit Erasure-esque too?

Every time a bomb is dropped on civilians, a school, a hospital, a water treatment works, a power station, an office block, a museum, a bridge, etc... we have failed. "Living Past Midnight" is more than just an anti war album. And whatever it is, it isnt just nostalgic synthpop.

A track from my 2024 album "Living Past Midnight" The album starts in the nuclear wasteland, it covers war as a concept... where the civilian victims are almost always the greatest victims.

Another from 2021 now... "Stay in Bed" is a sort of darkly humorous song... when you just know there's not going to be any good news, and that another crisis is sure to ruin your plans. I like reflecting on the ideas I had then...

"Dark Matter" opens the album with a musical callback to the second in the trilogy... a song about the immeasurability of passion and of feeling like you are always destined to be alone... as the album develops, the cosmic theme makes it clear, we will be united at the end of time...

Some people use social media to "other" people they dont know... to signal to out groups that other outgroups are "bad people". They lie because they are unhappy with who they are and have nothing to offer the world except negativity. I think we should pity them. I call it "mal-addiction".

Part of the point of this musical project was to get the ideas recorded and released. For posterity. Ideas can always be revisited later! 2021 was a great year for working with others. We formed a choir!

"Your Desire" is a song about circumstances... external instability that creates a sort of helpless feeling... the inability to get to where you want to be. Those synths are pure hardware goodness! It is available on...

Many people say that this is one of my most intense songs... me, turned up to 11. And I say to those people, this is what it is like inside my head... all the time. Being a butterfly is an analogy...

From my first ever EP "Screwed Up" It is best described as artpop fused with Irish Folk with synth leads that riff on such greats as The Congress Reel but recorded as live improvisation. The vocals are eerie and deliberately ghost like. Is this artpop?

But it feels real! And I'm so scared!

In 2020... everything changed. In 3 weeks I wrote and recorded over 30 tracks and tunes... for a project... I joined social media only to try to find people who might be able to help me learn and grow. To seek advice and friendship. This year... I'm finishing that project. Gaia will return.

Perhaps based on genre this is a surprising influence on me... unless that genre is empathy.

Naturally, being written in 2020 and 2021, the tracks each deal with different ways the world could end... from AI, Volcanoes, and WW3, to The Virus. But it ends with a message of love and hope.

About 3 years ago I wrote and recorded an album in about 3 weeks. I decided to focus on the message rather than the polish (it was part of a competition and I had a short deadline). The album turned out to be very ominous, its main theme is about questioning what we believe.

In 2024 I released "Living Past Midnight", a response to the ever growing instability in the world caused by war. It is dedicated to the victims of war, whoever and wherever they are. How close to midnight do you think we are? Can we do anything to stop the clock?

Perhaps the most difficult thing to do is to say goodbye to someone you love, not because the love has faded, but because you love them so much. I put these feelings into a song, heartfelt and honest and in just one take. If my voice fluctuates, that is ok. #MusicSky

I wrote this song in 2023 in response to the continuing war in Ukraine, and it was released soon after the events of Oct 7th, the ensuing war, and continuing genocide, is still hard to witness. I feel an ever deeper sense that we are in an uneasy downward spiral.
