If you don’t like what you’re seeing at Delaney Hall, pay attention to what’s happening in Congress this week.   We must stop giving ICE and for-profit companies like GEO Group a blank check to create chaos.

I'm back at the Capitol to advocate for New Jersey because what I saw at Delaney Hall is out right disturbing. Here are three things we can do to make things better for detainees and their families.

Refusing to address the inhumane conditions at Delaney Hall is a choice that ICE and GEO Group are making. Putting profit over people.   Here are 3 things Secretary Mullin COULD focus on fixing right now.

It shouldn't be easier for ICE to deploy pepper spray and riot gear than to provide medical support and quality food.

Next week Senate Republicans are poised to give ICE and CBP tens of billions of dollars to funnel right to private, well-connected companies like GEO Group. What’s are they offering to help you? Nothing. For them, Delaney Hall is just the start. Their corrupt & cruel agenda will be up for a vote.

A revolving door of corruption. Zero regard for the rule of law. Companies like GEO Group are profiting off of human misery and it’s time for it to end.

Secretary Mullin said I shouldn't have been at Delaney Hall, but I disagree.   This isn't about me. This is about the detainees and their families, the lawlessness we're seeing from ICE.   I was willing to take a risk and I'd do it all over again to keep people safe.

Trump gets a $1.8 billion slush fund for his loyalists and supporters.   Congressional Republicans want to write a blank check to ICE.   And what do you get?   The corruption and lawlessness is out of control.

Don't let ICE and this administration lie to you. I saw inside Delaney Hall with my own eyes. The conditions are absolutely unacceptable.

What I saw at Delaney Hall reinforced what we already know: we can't continue to write a blank check to ICE while their violence and lawlessness continue.

I told ICE that they could NOT just plow through a crowd of civilians at Delaney Hall. They didn't care. Here's what happened yesterday.

For GEO Group, the company that runs the Delaney Hall detention facility, it’s all about profit over people.   What I saw there this weekend was absolutely corrupt and cruel.

Shut Delaney Hall down, NOW.   Today, @menendez.house.gov and I went to Delaney Hall because of the inhumane conditions we've been hearing about.   What I saw and heard is absolutely unacceptable.

No one in government should be allowed to profit off of the information or influence they have access to while in office. That's why I've been pushing to ban stock trading across all three branches of government. It's just common sense.

America is no longer seen as a reliable partner. The chaos of this administration has made us untrustworthy on the global stage.   We must fix this.

I spent this morning fighting for you and against dangerous DHS policies. ICE shouldn't be allowed to invade our communities like this.

Trump knows he's costing you. He doesn't care.

Trump's priority is wealth and ego, not the American people. Now, he's setting up a nearly $1.8 BILLION slush fund for his buddies and loyalists in exchange for dropping his lawsuit against the IRS.

We need to make sure caregivers are seen, heard, and supported in Congress. This is just the beginning.

I know from my personal experience and conversations in New Jersey: members of the Sandwich Generation are everywhere.     We need support. Conversations like this is where that starts.

When Trump pushes our allies and partners away, he’s not only making us weaker, he’s giving a gift to President Xi.
