13 Days Until the DC Primary! While canvassing yesterday, I met a voter who had filled out his ballot without voting for me. He said when he heard me at the @wamu.org forum, he'd gone home to tear up his mail-in ballot so he could go vote in-person to rank me first for DC Delegate on June 16.

14 Days Until the DC Primary! Yesterday I met a woman who said one of our leaders' priorities should be creating opportunities for kids to be productive after school to keep kids out of trouble.

Trump’s attacks on the federal workforce in DC aren’t just ideological, they also have a racist component to them. As DC’s Delegate I will do everything in my power to fight to stop and reverse the needless cuts to the workforce which underpins DCs diverse middle class and serves our country.

When we invest in programs like Head Start, we are investing in children, in moms, in families, and this is proven to pay dividends over their lifetimes. As the DC Delegate, there will be no higher priority for me than making sure that we continue to properly fund programs like Head Start!

I know how to reduce crime! I’ve done it before!
