There are three steps to get us to DC Statehood! 1) Get everyone in DC on board 2) Get the Democratic Party to put statehood at the top of the priority list 3) Find the Republicans willing to make a grand bargain

When we invest in programs like Head Start, we are investing in children, in moms, in families, and this is proven to pay dividends over their lifetimes. As the DC Delegate, there will be no higher priority for me than making sure that we continue to properly fund programs like Head Start!
