Two years ago our plane of nearly 300 rescue animals took off from Kabul and landed in Katowice, Poland under a rainbow 🌈 After an 8hour layover for cleaning, feeding and watering, our big yellow ✈️ flew on to Washington DC. The years since haven't been easy, but there have been moments of victory.

This mama cat had to have emergency enucleation surgery after she got out of her house and into a fight. She was rushed in and our vets completed the surgery at 5am. She's up, eating and on antibiotics and pain medicine that are as safe as possible for her 3 nursing 2 week old kittens. #Caturday
